I like this scene, but it's confusing. Why doesn't she bring up that she was against killing Kid Apocalypse and tried to stop it. I mean she failed to save him, but hey, she tried.

Looks like Betsy is losing Xavier's dream do you think it'll play into which side she chooses when the x-men split up and then eventually fight each other.

psyknight said...

I think it will.

BTW, I really like the way she looks in the close-up on the first page. I wouldn't mind if she looked something like that all the time.

The more I read of this series, the more I can see how much thought they put into including Psylocke in it. It makes sense that she is conflicted in her loyalties and beliefs. She's been a believer of Xavier's dream for so long, yet her personal experiences have actually led her farther from it.

Makes sense to me, anyway! Good to see her interacting with her brother, even if it's just her imagination. Or was that a telepathic conversation between them?

^The conversation with her brother was a danger room simulation, so he's basically a hologram.

she was definetely holographically skyping her brother trough danger room..

It's a nice development of her personality, indeed.

Quite interesting to see that Psylocke was always such a strong believer in Xavier's dream, even though she was never too close to him (and entered the group when Xavier was gone from it).

LOL no. It was just a Danger Room hologram.

What is "skyping"?

psyknight,
For you: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=skyping

no,
Liz was not skyping Brian.

She was just practicing. Or, this might show that she really has no one to talk to about a lot of things & she thinks her own brother's reaction to how she's changed might be bad, so she runs this simulation. As a comfort, as practice for something she'll eventually tell Brian in person, or both; it is lovely & tragic.

I completely agree, QKC.

Thank you, Rahsaan.
