Psylocke Confirmed To Have Purple Hair In X-Men: Apocalypse

ComicBook.com: X-Men: Apocalypse hair designer Felix Lariviere has confirmed, via Twitter, that Psylocke will have purple hair in X-Men: Apocalypse.

In the comics, Psylocke is a British woman and natural blonde. She dyed her hair purple during her early pursuit of a modelling career. Even after Betsy was forced to body swap with the Asian assassin Revanche, she continues to be drawn with purplish hair (black with a purple shine, at its subtlest).

Olivia Munn will play Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse. I’m sure fans will be eager to see the results of her purple dye job.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens May 27, 2016.

X-Force Film Supplanted by X-Men: Apocalypse?

After FOX announced “The New Mutants”, a spin-off film to be directed and co-written by Josh Boone, Robert Liefeld took to Twitter to shed some light on the long-time rumored “X-Force” film.

According to Liefeld, the film adaption of “X-Force”, written by Jeff Wadlow, shared too many elements with “X-Men: Apocalypse”, including the title villain himself.

Liefeld went on to add that both “X-Force” and “X-Men: Apocalypse” couldn’t both exist. It is still up in the air whether “X-Force” will be rewritten.
