X-Men #17 Spoilers & Art

Spoilers by Magnus: Beast meets up with Kymera and asks why they're taking Shogo into a battle zone. Kymera says that he's important and she needs him to stop the "Bloodline" defense. Beast decides to trust her. Storm and Rachel fly the X-Jet in close, and get attacked by the forest. Rachel's lost all contact with Monet, so Storm decides to attack the forest with a giant heatwave. Kymera and Beast meet up with Psylocke and the students, and Kymera pleads for Storm to stop. She does, and they find Monet in the forest, with the guards having passed out from heatstroke. Storm also asks Kymera why she's brought Shogo, at which point Kymera cuts Shogo's thumb open and rubs his blood on a nearby plant, explaining that Bloodline is coded to The Future's DNA, so Shogo's blood will work it too (and cause it to "reboot"). The Future yells in anger, Jubilee goes vampire mode and busts out, only to find The Future dead, crushed by vines. Meanwhile, Shogo has apparently been poisoned by the plant, so Beast injects him with Arkea to heal him. The last page is Storm reading a letter from Kymera, explaining why she's deciding to leave.

X-Men #16 Spoilers

Spoilers: Teon and Sprite recover after being injected with the Arkea sample. Meanwhile, the X-Men get ready to fight the Future and retrieve Jubilee. Sabra and Gabriel send files on The Future to Storm; Rachel asks Kymera about future events; and Psylocke mobilizes the X-kids. After some researching, the X-Men track the Future’s most probable whereabouts at the Adirondacks. Back to the Future, he expects the X-Men to exchange Shogo for Jubilee, but she assures him they won’t even consider this offer. The Future then gives his minions a sample of his blood to activate the “Bloodline” defense. Monet is sent to do some recon around the Future’s hideout, but is trapped by the forest, which seems alive. Kymera reveals it’s the “Bloodline”, a living ecosystem. Kymera tells the X-Men they have to trust her and bring Shogo there. Psylocke takes a team of Hellion, Rocklisde and Anole to fight the Future’s minions and get intel on the “Bloodline” system. After Beast brings Shogo, Kymera moves on with her plan.

X-Men #15 Spoilers

Spoilers: Kymera tells the X-Men that in her future, the Future infiltrates the school, kidnaps Shogo and maims Jubilee permanently. Storm decides to take any measures necessary to prevent that; the others agree. Jubilee visits Teon and Sprite in Beast’s lab. Beast plans to inject them with a “brain dead” sample of Arkea in order to replicate its self-repair ability in said patients. Kymera is worried they’ll change the timeline, but Ororo assures her that her staying in the present already did that. Later, the X-Men guard the school. Psylocke detects the Future posing as a gardener and attacks him. He adapts to her powers and easily overcomes Betsy. The Future enters the school and shoots at Jubilee, retrieving her body.

Bromo-Superior: When Julian is unable to defeat the medieval soldiers, Psylocke comes to his rescue and shoots at his attacker.  At first, Hellion is upset that the X-Men won’t let the kids prove themselves, but Betsy tells him the man she killed was her Danger Room boyfriend. She wanted to teach them how things go different in the real world where one can’t just reboot the program.

X-Men #12 Spoilers

Spoilers: After Ana Cortes terminates her own life, the Sisterhood uses her body to resurrect Madelyne while Deathstrike and Arkea now inhabit the same body (that of Reiko). With the aid of John Sublime, the X-Men track Arkea Prime to Japan where they take the Sisterhood by surprise. Monet takes on the Enchantress and makes Amora rethink her alliance to Arkea. Psylocke takes on Typhoid Mary and easily defeats her. Storm and Rachel face Arkea, Madelyne and Selene. Madelyne subdues Rachel, but Storm offers Maddie and Selene a deal: the X-Men will let them go because they’ve come for Arkea. Maddie warns that she’ll recruit a new Sisterhood before leaving with Selena. Arkea is left alone. The X-Men warn her that they’ve isolated all Arkea impact points and have neutralized 90% of them. Arkea has nowhere to go. Karima shoots at Arkea’s brain with a gun designed by Sublime which will only eliminate Arkea, not Lady Deathstrike. Arkea is terminated. In the end, Karima decides to leave the team and work with Sabra and Gabriel. Meanwhile, the X-Kids and Jubilee manage to overcome the Sentinels.

X-Men #11 Spoilers

Spoilers: In New York, Deathstrike/Ana and the Enchantress buy Selene’s body preserved as airborne particles on the black market. Amora employs black magic and resurrects Selene. Aboard the Cortes yatch, Rachel, Storm and Karima meet Psylocke and Monet. They all agree the yatch was a red herring. Monet argues that the Sisterhood is recruiting new members and since Deathstrike was brought from the dead, they may end up facing newly-resurrected enemies. Arkea meets Selene and subdues her and reveals they still need one more member: Madelyne Pryor. Sabra informs the X-Men that the genetic materials of Selene and Madelyne were purchased on the black market. Back at the School, Quire is responsible for watching over Sublime. Meanwhile in Japan, Ana tells Typhoid Mary to kill her while she suppresses the Deathstrike persona. Ana says she just wanted to have some fun, but what Arkea is up to is too much for her. Arkea orders Ana to stop and calls her to resurrect Madelyne. Ana doesn’t oblige and stabs herself.

X-Men #10 Spoilers

Spoilers: Lady Deathstrike decides to resurrect the dead in order to face the X-Men and achieve her goals. At Dubai, Gabriel Shepherd retrieves Monet. Monet flies to the X-Jet to meet Storm and Psylocke, while Gabriel stays to clean the site. Gabriel manages to destroy the Arkea activation in Dubai, but here are many others around the globe. Elsewhere, the Ana persona is at odds with the Deathstrike persona in regard to Arkea, feeling things have been getting dangerous. However, they all agree to follow Arkea’s plans. Manwhile in outer space, Pixie and Rockslide track a box belonging to the Jean Grey School, and plan to throw it into the sun. Back at the school, Beast runs some tests on Sublime. Rachel and Sublime argue and end their relationship. Back to the X-Jet, Psylocke and Monet plan to approach Arkea by surprise, jumping out of the jet into the sea and not using any kind of tech. Betsy and Monet swim towards Ana’s yatch right before the Sisterhood’s jet lands on it. Arkea reveals to Deathstrike who she wants to resurrect. Deathstrike is worried as she thinks these two women are way too dangerous. Arkea disregards her remarks and tells her to obey and do as she wishes: they’ll resurrect Madelyne Pryor and Selene, the Black Queen. At the Catalina Island, Jubilee, Pixie, Hellion and Bling! regroup as they find out Old V1 Sentinels that had sunk decades ago are now under Arkea’s control. Karima, Quire, Mercury and Oya are aboard a jet above the island to keep an eye on the Sentinels. Once the Sentinels emerge from the sea, the X-Men realize they cannot be simply dismantled, so Pixie and Bling! face them up close.

Spoilers by Seriena: The team splits up: Jubilee and Karima are trying to track down Deathstrike, while Monet is out in Budapest. Storm and Psylocke are meeting Sabra and Gabriel Shepherd. Rachel is interrogating Sublime, and comments that anything between them was a terrible idea. Sublime abruptly senses Arkea becoming aware again. Deathstrike, Enchantress, and Mary arrive at a base of operations (body shoppe) in a skyscraper in Dubai. She then hacks the entire 'secure' network. Deathstrike offers the Sisterhood to Arkea in exchange for power. Arkea agrees. Monet arrives in style, ready to wipe out the entire seven floors the Sisterhood's body shoppe is in. Unfortunately, Arkea's managed to restore Enchantress's power, and she and Deathstrike confront Monet while Mary evacuates Arkea. On the way out, Arkea decides she wants to find two more of the X-men's enemies. Back at the school, Rachel and company are realizing that Arkea's changed targets from Sublime to the X-men. Monet puts up a fight, but can't overcome Enchantress. Arkea starts popping up all over the planet, and something is going wrong with Karima. The story ends with a number of Sentinels at the bottom of the ocean reactivating and marching off.
