X-Men: The Days of Second Coming // Part 10

Source: IGN
13. Wolverine

The Road to Second Coming: Wolverine's past mistakes and misdeeds have, if nothing else, taught him the full value of human life. Cyclops is willing to sacrifice almost anything for what he sees as the greater good. Wolverine simply wants to prevent more death and destruction. These two close friends may find themselves on opposite ends of the coming conflict.

Chris Yost: "Wolverine is one of the few X-Men who has seen Hope since her escape into the future. And seeing her, it made Logan doubt that sending her off with Cable was the right move. Wolverine and Cyclops have always had a rough relationship, and it's only gotten rougher due to X-Force... but things are about to get as personal as they've ever gotten."

LOL Is that a joke? If not then was he valuing human life when he attempted to cut psylocke's (friend/teamates) head off in Psylocke #4

And the other countless lives he takes without a second look.

Well, to be fair, the article didn't say that Logan no longer kills, it said that he values human life. That is, he won't accept to kill anyone unless strictly necessary. And as petty as he was in Psylocke's series, to keep avenging Mariko's death was very important to him.

Kinda like in X-Force: he killed lots of people there, but not only disliking it, also encouraging his teammates to leave the team while they could, before they would get tainted by this kind of life.

Fraction says a lot of rubbish most of the times, but I agree with him on this one. And it's impressive that he understands a side of the character that he himself hasn't explored in his own X-title.

@FSaker

(I was the first anonymous poster who was complaining about wolverine)

Your very right I forgot all the times he's tried to stop other teammates from becoming like him.

I think I'm just a little vexed that he could have killed psylocke in her series so I still have a beef with him.
