Oh My. She's literally everywhere. :O
She's became the new wolverine<3
HA! Eat your heart out Emma Frost.
*decisively ignores the cameo queen cover of Uncanny X-Men*
Everything looks fantastic so far!I hope the context of the books will be as great as the covers.
P.S.:Paige and Betsy on the same team?Wonder what Warren has to say about this...
As I said, LOTS of Psylocke in January! Although I don't think she'll be appearing in X-Force #23.
I really loved the team Carey put together in Legacy, I hope to see some interaction between Betsy and Paige (some FRIENDLY interaction, I mean; both are too classy to dislike each other just because they dated the same man); and Psylocke's mini looks great! I wonder if the super-powered assassin chasing Matsu'o is someone we already know (Shinobi Shaw? Spiral? Silver Samurai? Lady Deathstryke?) or a brand-new villain.
And does anyone else think it's quite disturbing to see Betsy and Kurt fighting Logan when he's completely naked? But well, at least this time she isn't the one fighting naked...
We are being wonderfully inundated with Psylocke on so many X-based books! This is what we all want, and Marvel is delivering! This has been long overdue for Betsy. I wouldn't be surprised if Wolverine makes an appearance in the Psylocke mini. As for the super powered assassin, it coul be anyone. FSaker, good choices for possibilities. Historically, I am thinking it may be someone with an unresolved grievance against Matsuo. Wolverine has a tumultuous history with Matsuo, too, and I think Wolverine also has a reason to want Matsuo's head just as much as Psylocke. Didn't Matsuo and Wolverine have a falling out where Wolverine cut out one of Matsuo's eyes?
If Wolverine does appear in the Psylocke mini, it would bring back fond memories of his days with Psylocke in Madripoor. I still remember that nice scene penciled by Silvestri with Psylocke sitting in the restaurant near Jubilee and Wolverine... It seems as though the mini is going to address Betsy's attitude towards the body swap, something that was poorly addressed in the past.
Psylocke everywhere!!! don't wake me up
@Francis: You got it! I am still in the land of nirvana!
Cool :),lol shes everywhere.better tell my local comic sho[ to save me a few more books lol.is she actually in the uncanny "predator" story or just the cover?
@PsySpears - I hope Betsy is there, too :)
wow such awesome news!
Dodson cover is beautiful, those Psy-knives are lovely.
Psylocke and Blindfold in the same team made of win!!! Now they just need to reveal the true connection between the two ;P
I'll believe the hype if she actually has more than two pages in these books and half of them aren't buttshots. I want Kwannon to return and kill Betsy and return to her asian body. Kwannon is so much more badass than Betsy.
Uh. Revanche is not more badass than Psylocke. She's cool, but Betsy has more depth than Kwannon.
And, yeah, my first time posting; and I'm happy to see Psylocke in also of stuff. I got tired of seeing Wolverine in everything. I just hope she becomes iconic enough for when movies or TV shows interpret her, they do a good job!
yes that's so great... at least psylocke it's getting the importance that she deserves... but why isn't the cover of new mutants?? psylocke it's there too
@Kike Galvan - Hi. What's up? Missed your comments. Psylocke is getting a level of significance that she hasn't had since the 90s. Do you think Selene is going to get killed in X-Force? I doubt it. Selene is one of the hotties of the bad girl side, and a good character, too. She probably will elude X-Force.
I never have enough when it comes to Psylocke...
I bet we will love next year.
I cant stop thinking all of this could be marketing from Marvel because they want to feature Psylocke in Wolverine Origins 2: The movie, since its gonna happen in Japan.
I think they will show Hand stuff, and some Japanise X-Men, like Psylocke or Sunfire...
This would explain why she stays in the asain body, why she got her own mini, and why she is everywhere. Theres always money and marketing behind.
But im happy and Psylocke deserver this, btw.

Psylocke in X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2... on one hand, it is more exposure for her, and for blockbuster audiences who may get to know her from the movie, which is great; on the other hand, the first movie was really bad, and I don't want her to be misrepresented again (the Last Stand actress wasn't bad; the lack of participation in the movie and the end Psylocke had in it were).
Oh well...
@FSaker - If Psylocke is being considered for an X-Men: Wolverine Origins 2 movie, this could be a great opportunity for Betsy, or perhaps a failure, depending on who is chosen to play Betsy and her role in the movie.
I was already looking forward to January (well, I'm always looking forward to it, it's my birthday) but this January look very exciting (sp?).
And isn't the cover of UXM an homage/rip off of that X-Men/Wild C.A.T.S. crossover by Adam Hughes?
@Captainfur - Maybe we could wish you happy birthday on the blog in January. I think we will have a great upcoming year with Psylocke, that's for sure.
@centurion nooo definetly Selene wouldn't die... she's always in the backup of the x-men villains but she have a lot o potential to be a GREAT BAD ONE, i think that necrosha it's going to put her in the place that she belongs...
and PSYLOCKE in XMO:W2 wow sheeee would be HOTTER than anyone!!!
@Kike Galvan - Oh yes, Betsy would. If any of this becomes reality, I would like there to be scene where Betsy meets Logan in a Madripoor restaurant, as she did twenty years ago in Uncanny. I wonder who would get the role of Betsy? Of course, this is all theory.
Who do you think will make a good Psylocke if she's gonna be in a movie?
I remember someone saying on this blog a few months back that Kate Beckinsale would make a good British Psylocke. I agree.
What about asian Psylocke?
I think Kelly Hu, the one that played Deathstrike in X2 would make a nice Psylocke.
@Anonymous 8:19PM - I fully agree. Kelly Hu is a great choice for an Asian Psylocke. Any other possibilities?
