wow it's so exciting when she has characterization and talks about relevant things to her past. i love when they bring up older stories and flashbacks! also the writer makes it seem like Betsy's butterfly and katana are iconic and that's so cool. definitely think this is going to be good. i wonder why the artist decided to not give Psyocke eyeballs though but all the other mutants have them? it's very Storm of her.

I didn't really like the art, but if Carey is writing the story and if it will discuss her psychic butterfly effect, I'm already satisfied!

Although the timeline in the story looks kinda messy... from what I understand, the battle against the Savage Land dinosauric people takes place two years before her conversation with Rachel in the White Hot Room. But didn't their time there happen only few issues after that fight (like, during House of M)? I'd say the Savage Land adventure took place only a few weeks before they went to the White Hot Room. Unless, of course, this dialogue doesn't take place during House of M, but in the current continuity (with Betsy in Utopia and Rachel returning to Earth - but then, shouldn't they be in their current uniforms?).

Oh well... hey, if they are in the White Hot Room, any chance that momJeans will appear in the story to welcome her visitors?

I asked Carey, he said that the story takes place during HoM, when Betsy and Rachel were at the White Hot Room. <3

luckystar is it supposed to tell something about betsy we don't know yet? that'd be awesome!!! love when they remark how special she is! xD

Thanks for the info, LuckyStar!

But if it takes place during HoM, shouldn't the Savage Land events have taken place just a couple weeks ago, instead of two years??

@Fsaker. I think it's just a mistake. lol It sould be something like "Two months ago"...

@Francis: It's about Betsy explaining how her powers work, especially the Tk Katana, according to Carey. :P
