CornerStoreComics.com: Following hot on the heels of the first three Marvel Comics Bishoujo Collection Statues (Rogue, Black Widow, and Scarlet Witch) comes the mysterious and beautiful telepathic ninja mutant Psylocke! Once a British woman with minor mutant powers, Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock's mind was transferred into the body of a ninja giving her additional martial arts prowess. A long-time member of the X-Men, Psylocke now stars in her very own comic book series.
Here, the mutant heroine is presented for the first time in the Japanese Bishoujo (pretty girl) style based on original character art by illustrator Shunya Yamashita. Psylocke is a warrior woman to the core, striking a deadly pose with twin Japanese swords at the ready. The alluring curves of her body are accentuated by her skimpy, skin-tight costume that leaves little to the imagination and the high heeled boots that draw attention to her shapely legs. As Psylocke twists to face her foes her long hair fans out behind her, surrounding her beautiful Bishoujo-styled facial sculpt. The sexy mutant's bright blue costume and purple hair nicely offset her pale skin. Standing approximately 9 inches tall (in 1/8 scale with the other Marvel Bishoujo statues), Psylocke was sculpted by Yu Ishii. Packaged in an attractive window box, along with an exclusive X-Men logo base, the deadly mutant is constructed of high-quality pvc plastic. Estimated Arrival - Jun/Jul 2010.

Not sure about the heels but this artist can sure create pretty beautiful ladies ;D
I like it it's so glossy, hahahaha... But I agree, I'm not sure about the heels, it's not conducive to what she naturally does; kick azz and take names. Regardless it's a very beautiful statue.
I don't mind the heels. It is after all an anime version of Psylocke so it's all in fun, plus it stays in the tradition of the other statues which all have heels. Adds to the feminine touch of the designs and makes it seem elegant. :)
Now Psylocke wearing that same outfit and with heels in the comics? that would be a different story.
Ilike it how the belt is high above her waist ;D

True, that's what I meant in that it wouldn't be ideal with what she does solely in the comics. As a statue, I don't see anything wrong with it, as you said it keeps w/the anime style of the other statues :P
@Sexy and demure. I like it, heels and all.
Best,

I usually hate anime/manja art but this is beautiful. I love the heels and the glossy look. Her face has this sexy strong confidence to it.
Simply georgeous although I think her lips are too pink. She should have a more purplish shade for her lips. Love how they done her hair.
i love that they mention her light skin. one would need light skin to have purple hair, or it would make the complexion way to yellow, lol.
Does anyone know where I can find the box/concept art for this?
