Psylocke ClipArt Collection Update

We've added two new Psylocke ClipArts to our "Psylocke ClipArt Collection: Looks Through The Years": Psylocke as Death and in her new X-Force uniform designed by Jerome Opeña. Check out all the other cliparts of Psylocke in her many incarnations here!

We'll be somewhat on hiatus for this week, so we're gonna be kinda slow on updates. You may use this post to talk about any news that we may haven't posted yet. :D Happy New Year!

She looks cool as Death, but I'm glad that it wasn't permanent.

The new X-Force uniform, on the other hand, is an amazing design! She should wear it in the regular X-books as well (but with the uniform colored blue and the belt colored magenta). It gives Betsy a fresh look but it is also similar enough to the famous 90s bathing suit, so that no one feels alienated by it.

I actually liked when the X-Men had a bit of uniformity to their costumes, but with personal styling. I'd love it if we saw that again. This new outfit could be easily assimilated. One of Bets' best looks was the tradtional blue and gold, actually. Especially during the Starjammers saga.

My favorite was her New Exiles costume, although those heels are pretty impractical.

Marvel published their top 10 teams for 2011, guess who's in number one?? exactly Uncanny X-force

Why They Make the List: Nobody likes taking out the garbage, but somebody has to do it. X-Force served this role in the Marvel Universe, getting their hands dirty with jobs others shied away from despite the tremendous toll it took on their souls. When even Deadpool expresses guilt, you know you’re facing steep challenges, but Wolverine’s black ops squad still forged ahead. They didn’t grab headlines or get tickertape parades, but really doesn’t that make what X-Force accomplished even more commendable? We’re sure they don’t feel like the top team of the year, but for all they gave up to keep safe a world that never knew it, we believe they earned at least one accolade.

Cool list! She also appears listed in Team Cyclops (Marvel apparently counts Cyclops's X-Tinction Team and Storm's Recon Team as parts of the same team, as Domino, Warpath and Jubilee - and even Dazzler - are also listed), which is ranked at number four.

Speaking of the X-Tinction Team, Uncanny X-Men #4 was released today, right? From what I read in discussion forums, Psylocke was shown as part of the team, but she did almost nothing, and no explanation was given about why she's there even though Scott didn't choose her for the X-Tinction Team in the first issue (though one can assume that she's replacing Emma as the team's telepath while Emma tries to put her arm back into place). Let's hope issue #5 gives Betsy a little more panel time.

Love the full scale images of Psylocke's new costumes. It's about time she got a practical costume that still has her own personal style. Now if only she took the costume over to UXM (not that I read it anyway)
