Does that small panel of Betsy look like she's emerging from something?

is that British Bets in the black queen esque attire?

I too think that that is Bets in the Black Queenesque attire, as well as Betsy emerging from some kind of pod that looked very similar to the pod they used back in the Lady Mandarin Saga. I know Psylocke has been messed with many times in the past, but I do hope that she gains the persona of Death, heir to the throne of Apocalypse. Maybe because she's so used to being messed with that her body or psyche can gain a better handle on the manipulation, such that she's not totally controlled by it like Warren? She seems to be one of the toughest most resilient characters, in addition to being one of the most messed with - I think a Darke Psylocke could bring out the existing and deliciously wicked Lady Mandarin side of Betsy, without her becoming a total zombie. I mean, who didn't like her all deadly in the Lady Mandarin saga?

If you ask me, the only interesting female characters all have a bit o' CRAZAAAY in them. Again, not in a tacky way, but in a "I like the thrill" kind of way, which has been a longstanding side of her.

We kinda know that she will not be corrupted by Apocalypse's devices (well, at least not permanently), yet it's frightening to think about whatever will happen to her. We know she will be alright in the end, yet I can't help fearing for her in these last issues of the first UXF big story. That's what happens when the plot is so good...

Hey, I read that X-Men: Schism #5 was released today. Does anyone know if Psylocke appears in it? So far, this event has been good, but it sucks that she only had one-panel appearances in the first two issues and didn't appear at all in isses #3 and #4, so I hope Jason Aaron will change that in #5...

(although I'm glad that at least Hope got some good development in it)

Yes, Psylocke does have a cameo in Schism #5. She is seen piloting a Blackbird.
