Uncanny X-Men #520 Spoilers

Spoilers: Cyclops sends Wolverine, Psylocke and Colossus to hit NY to track down where the Predators X came from and the source of the nanites. Logan follows the remaining Predator X's scent to the sewers of the city, where the X-Men find out that Fantomex already dealt with the monster. The X-Men ask for Fantomex's aid to determine where the Predators came from, but Fantomex is not willing to help. Meanwhile in Utopia, Magneto explains about the massive support pillar beneath the island to stop it from sinking. Cyclops gets mad at him for working all this stuff behind his back and tells Erik he won't have his trust this way. Magneto leaves Utopia and decides that it's time to do some good for a change as he begins meditating at the top of a mountain. Back in NY, Wolverine, Psylocke and Colossus track the Predator's point of origin inside a building, where the super-powered beings from Uncanny X-Men #515-516 are expecting them.

Its about to go down, I think Colossus, Wolverine, and Psylocke can handle the group of baddies, they didn't look so tough to me

This was such a bad issue.

I liked it. It was avarege, but better than Fraction's usual crappyness.

I hope they'll have at least a decent showdown with the villains next issue.

None of that Agent-of-Atlas-knocked-out-in-one-punch sillyness.

These new villains look so lame (Thug?? Bouncing Betty?? REALLY???) that one of the X-Men alone should be able to take them all down. But sure, Fraction wouldn't want his creations to look silly, so they will probably beat the X-Men and just after that Fantomex will come back and save them.

But the Magneto subplot looks very good. Actually, although the Predators X subplot was lame and the Scott/Emma/Void one was very weak, the one dealing with Magneto's plans with Namor is being very good so far. This should be the main subplot from Nation X, but unfortunately it is so far the least important one...

Anyway, I am waiting for some scans. As much as I hate Land's art and your summary has already explained the story, this is a good way for us to get used to Land so that his art in Second Coming won't ruin the feeling of the whole event...
