Hey, what a surprise, she DOES look good! The art in this issue looks a bit less traced and more like it was really drawn (it wasn't, but at least this time Land didn't make it so obvious).
But he still needs to improve more if he is going to work with the Second Coming event...
@FSaker - Hi. How have you been? Yes, Betsy is beautiful under Land's pen, especially here. I love her in these scans. Paquette is another one of my favorite artists for Betsy. She looks radiant in Wolverine: Weapon X #9. I don't read that book, but I will purchase issue 9 for Betsy.
I also hope that Capcom does a HD remake of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, and eventually decides to make a Marvel vs. Capcom 3 with Betsy as a character :0)
@FSaker - This is an addendum to my last post. Betsy's popularity is skyrocketing now, so if a MVC3 were made, she would very likely be a very popular character. Assuming this game is made, Capcom should focus on alternate costumes, rather than alternate color schemes for the characters as it was often done in previous Capcom versus games.
@centurion - Hi! I agree, if Capcom ever gets the authorization from Marvel to make MvC3 (and I don't know why Marvel hasn't allowed it yet; Capcom's games with Marvel characters were much better than any other game from other companies using Marvel's license, except maybe the Ultimate Alliance games), Psylocke would almost certainly be in it. Not only because of her current popularity in comics, but also because Betsy seems to be quite popular in Asia and because Capcom just seems to love her! I mean, she was even the only female character in Marvel Super Heroes, instead of Storm (and Capcom already had sprites for Storm), Invisible Woman, She-Hulk (who only cameos as one of the heroes defeated by Thanos) or Elektra!
About costumes, I guess Capcom would do the same thing as they did in Street Fighter IV: alternate color schemes for each character and one unlockable alternate outfit for each one. In Psylocke's case, the bathing suit would definitely be the standard outfit, but which uniform do you think Capcom would choose as her alternate?
wow i was totally the opposite on this issue i thought Betsy looked stupid grinning all the time like some bimbo, lands art and fractions crap dialogue are doing my head in.
@FSaker - Hi. Yes, Betsy was amazing in those days when she appeared in the Marvel versus series of games. I was also astonished to see her appear in Marvel Super Heroes over so many other female Marvel characters. Betsy was, and still is, very hot. She's always been popular in X-Men related games.
I would like to see her in a future Marvel vs. Capcom 3. With the overwhemlingly positive response to the re-release of the MVC2 on Xbox Live and PSN, I can't see Capcom passing up an opportunity to make a Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
@centurion - Capcom's representatives have already expressed their interest in making a Marvel vs. Capcom 3; if I'm not mistaken, Seth Killian himself (who worked in the development of Street Fighter IV) said that they would love to make another crossover with Marvel. The problem is, Marvel hasn't authorized the production of a new MvC game so far...
@FSaker - Hi. Yes, you are right. He did say that. I would die for such a game. If Marvel could authorize the production of an MVC3, oh my gosh... I would be in heaven.
My thoughts exactly!!!! I would love to see the 3 of them in a ongoing book as a roster! I would add Storm as the leader plus Mystique, Northstar and Archangel and it would be my perfect team! Cant´t wait to see the team roster after Second Coming...what do you guys think/wish it will be?
@Anonymous 9:03 PM - It's very possible. I think Betsy's still in that "let's re-define" my powers phase. I liked how she used her psi-knife to illuminate a path in X-Men 520. That was creative. I think we should consider novel ways in which her psi-powers could be used, for instance, she could project a psi shield over herself with her psi-butterfly. I'm just throwing some ideas out there...
@Anonymous 11:43AM - Yes, I find myself reading many of the issues from the Australian outback days with Havok, Betsy, Rogue, and Longshot. I really believe that the X writing during that time was solid. Silverstri and Claremont were a dynamic duo back then. Remember the battle in Manhattan when Rogue, Psylocke, Colossus and Havok took on Master Mold? That was a memorable issue.
@Kike Galvan and FSaker - Hi. Assuming you guys haven't already, I think we should preorder the upcoming Psylocke Bishoujo statues. I have a feeling they are going to sell quickly once the figures are released.

Adore the fact that this issue centers on other X-Men-especially Betsy. AND kudos to Land-his Betsy is beautiful this issue-the best since 511.
Greg Land did improve this issue. It was probably his best art ever since UXM #500.
i like it
but she doesnt look japanese
:/
I hate Land
I hate Fraction
I hate the fact she only have 2 sentences...
Btw, could be worst:
Alison being the light in sewers without a single word
I want Craption outta Uncanny now...
Please with ice cream on top :D
Maybe it's me, but do Psylocke's lips look kinda big? It seems almost as if she got lip injections. :S

Anyway, E.V.A. appeared! Cool!

@FSaker - I wonder if Disney's recent acquisition of Marvel will somehow complicate things?

It's great to see Wolverine, Betsy, and Colossus on the same team. Reminds me of the Outback days!

Wonder if Psylocke will ever use her TK katana again... it has been a long time since she use it...

It seems as if her psi-powers can be projected into other objects besides swords. I wonder what would work well for Betsy?
