X-Men #21 Spoilers

Spoilers: War Machine fights Storm and Colossus, but is caught by surprise by an airspace violation by the Symkarians, which changes everything. Storm explains the Sentinel situation to War Machine, and he accepts the X-Men’s help. Meanwhile, Domino’s body is retrieved by the Puternicstans. Psylocke and her team tracks Domino’s location, and on their way, they find out more Sentinels and the details of some project involving the machines, however Betsy and her team are discovered by the Puternicstan soldiers. At the Puternicstan HQ, the Governor explains that by using Domino’s mutant bio-signature, they can get the Sentinel to attack anything they want by tricking it into thinking it’s attacking a mutant. She plans to use the robots against Symkaria and Latveria. At the medical lab, Domino regains consciousness and escapes. The Governor and her men spot Storm, War Machine and Colossus invading their airspace. The Puternicstans activate the Sentinel which was reprogrammed. Their plan works as the Sentinel attacks War Machine after detecting him as a mutant.

Hah, I knew Gischler wouldn't kill Domino! He should, but of course he wouldn't...

As for Psylocke, Jubilee and Warpath, were they captured after they were discovered or the story stops at them being discovered? They certainly have the potential to fight and defeat the Puternicstan soldiers without much trouble.

BTW, from what I read at the CBR forums, it looks like Psylocke didn't do much in Generation Hope #13. No one hit her (at least not on panel), but neither did she; she just failed to dominate Velocidad's mind, ran towards Hope to attack her, but it seems they never got to exchange blows, as the fight was interrupted when Magneto tore Zero's flesh in two...

Why does everyone hate Domino? I get she came from the big guns, big muscles, big breasts everyone wears to many utility pouches era. I feel she finally started to get some decent writing around the time of the previous X-force series & I think in the right hands she could be redefined.

Xander,

I personally have no pronblem with Neena! I like her OCD and neurosis! I still want her and Bets and Sage to be on the same X-Men team! That'd rock the house. They'd be so efficient and fantastic.

Not too happy with the way psylocke is written in this issue. Calling storm "boss?" Seems out of character, especially when compared to Remender's depiction.

I like Domino. I think Colossus as Juggernaut should have absolutely no problem taking out War Machine. If you're combining Colossus's and Juggernaut's strength, he should be nearly unbeatable.

I liked Conrad's rendition of Psylocke! Also like Domino and her imprevisible habilities. It's curious that there is just one man in the team heh And it will be nice to see Betts interact with new fellows. Psylocke and Domino have potential for a nice dynamic.

I can see Psylocke calling Storm "Boss." In fact, I think she and the others have done it before during the Outback era. It's more a term of endearment (along with some authority) as Storm was their trusted leader and friend.

I agree with Rahsaan. I don't think Psylocke called Storm "Boss" because of a hierarchy, but as a friendly expression. We also know that she respects Storm a lot.

As for Domino, I swear that I really try to like her. I really do. But she always seems to be nothing but a badass girl with guns and zero personality; even in K&Y's X-Force she never convinced me as a character. I hope Gischler changes that, but so far, it looks like he's not interested in giving Domino a likeable personality either.

(then again, most people seem to like Kitty Pryde and I don't like her, so maybe the problem is in me, not in Kitty or Domino)

I don't like Cyclops or Jean Grey and they're probably two of the most popular X-Men. I don't think it's a big deal to dislike a character. They're fictitious so their feeling won't be hurt ;)

Matt, that's good, because I loathe Strong Guy. For some reason, I've always disliked him. Don't know why. Maybe I should start reading X-Factor and see if I dig the soulless version of Guido.
