it was awesome to see how rick remender stayed true to Betsy's character in the flash back. i didn't even notice she was in her british body.

Haha. Ah, grr, I need to stop reading/peeking at these previews. Makes the book feel so much shorter, and now I have what feels like a long wait for the next issue.

And I guess the new uniform for Betsy is only going to be used for X-Force, since every teaser/preview has her wearing the usual getup? With things changing as they are, it would be a great time for her to go with the new outfit in the other books. It's more practical, too.

A great issue! Lots of action, lots of story.

For a second I actually thought she cut Jean-Phillipe for real.

@Vigmed
I guess it's just her X-Force costume. Too bad cause it's pretty nice. Especially when we get a good view of it on the last page.

Wow, I'm surprised to see that Brian let her sister go to a party half-naked. Sure, he has no authority over her, but one would assume he would at least make it clear how he disapproved this outfit...

This issue was wonderful and (like always) I loved everything about it. To have a not-so-Betsy focused comment for once from me; I really loved the [AoA] Jean Grey vs. Archanagel, especially the death phoenix energy of Warren's powers. Amazing scene, both well-written and beautifully drawn.

It is unfortunate that she will only be wearing this new costume in the X-Force run, but hopefully it will spread into the other books soon.

The best part of this issue shows how great of a writer Rick Remender is. He is willing to dig deep into the more obscure histories of characters. In this case, he brought us back to a long-ago memory of Betsy.

@FSaker: This was around the time when Betsy was off doing her own stuff away from Brian. She dyed her hair purple, developed telepathic powers, and became of S.T.R.I.K.E.'s Psi-Division. She was actually at the Hellfire party as an infiltration mission, so dress-up was necessary! xD.

Sorry, but terrible issue compared to the previous set up. Continuity errors all around: Deathlok appears and disappears randomly, War and Pestilence are nowhere to be found even though they were all over last issue, and I don't even understand Archangel's powers anymore... they seem to grow and shrink depending on who he's fighting. As for Psylocke, she is deceptively underused in the issue. If you think about it, she essentially does nothing while the good guys gawk at her new costume and then knock her out to snap her out of it. Lame. After all the suspense built up previously, this one's a real letdown.

Hmm if you consider that Death-Betsy was possessed merely to be immediately unpossessed, you have a point...I confess I hoped to see her kicking some butts like this and giving a hell of a job to be recovered back...

@dcsupervillain i totally understand and i would have felt the same way if it weren't for this one little thing. so i was ready to be all pissed at the whole build up to Psylocke becoming the new Death (which i think is awesome and should be explored in a "WHAT IF?" issue. i think she is the first telepathic horseman, right?) then when i saw how fast she reverted back to Betsy i was like really? that fast?

when i reread the issue i noticed AOA Jean telling Betsy "I can help you defeat it before it takes root." then it made sense to me why she was able to change back so quickly. its cuz the death seed hadn't fully taken control of Betsy. Jean, having done this before, was able to contain the Death persona and destroy it. it was in its early stages so Psylocke was able to take control and able to help Jean out a bit. i guess it makes sense that 2 Omega level Telepaths could defeat a newborn Death.

I havent read the issue & haven't really bought any Marvel in a long time - but always been a huge Psylocke fan. & these 3 ages are absolutely fantastic. So amazing to have such writing being done. Thanks Remender!
