Awesome teaser! I don't think Archangel will really die, but it's impressive to see Psylocke use her full powers against him!

And this teaser makes me remember how cool her X-Force outfit is! It's a shame that as part of the X-Men she insists on wearing the same bathing suit she's been wearing since the late 1980s...

Since Remenders Psylocke is stronger telepath, mild telekenetic I'm so hoping that this image is her using a psycho blast. That would be so gnarly.

Hmm since Archangel managed to defeat even the Phoenix, I really wonder what trick is coming now...

Lovin' that image.

Alexander, I was thinking the exact same thing! Psycho-blast supreme!

Jean lost cause the Phoenix didn't want to defeat him... i keep my fingers crossed for some flashy Betsy moment

I keep my finger's crossed that they really do not kill her >> again <<

Everyone except Archangel have been seen in stories and teasers that take place after the "Dark Angel Saga" so if someone dies it's Warren

Warren either dies or the death persona is destroy leaving Warren in recovery/coma for now

I'm thinking Betsy will put him into some kind of regenerative coma like she did Mortis. It's too easy to just kill him, and everyone will be expecting it.

90% chance she's going to kill him. It was foreshadowed back in issue#2 during a training session where Betsy kills a hologram of an evil Archangel. This is what X-Force does. They are a kill squad, plain and simple.

I also think killing him is just too simplist. And even though Betts is in X-force and recognizes the need to kill sometimes, we are talking about the man she loves...Also, Remender built her as the soul of the team, as shown in the first arc against the child Apocalypse.
Let's see how Remender surprises us all...

i disagree that it's simplistic, killing him will obviously be the hardest decision for her, but also the most apt outcome of all this, especially considering how everything has been building up to this final confrontation between the two. i would be happy to see archangel live, but if you think about it ... the dark angel saga is not about archangel at all - it's been about elizabeth all along, and her having to actually come to terms with killing, and letting go of warren, and having to make the most difficult choice. that's why i think killing archangel will be the most apt outcome.

hey, i just looked more closely at the pic and noticed that she's all wounded with feather spikes.

@Eduardo: He is the man she loves, but she also knows how much angel had struggle with the death persona. I guess that killing him can be seen as an act of love, in a way she could be freeing him.

Seeing the poster brought back memories from Buffy, when she killed Angel at the end of 2nd season

Also, don't forget that Fantomex has technology from the World that can "re-grow" people. Betsy is most likely going to kill Archangel, but there is the possibility that Jean-Philippe will "save" Warren, just like he's doing to the kid Apocalypse.

Hmm nice arguing!! I am still a big fan of the old "X-men that don't kill" and I was always surprised as how they managed to change tides not doing that. I meant simplistic in the way that it is what is expected but not really being easy at all for her. The struggle inside her has been build up by Remender. I did not want all her dedication and faith being not worth it in the end!
Is there really someone who is beyond any help?? I mean, it's the one she loves, she searched for an option even for child Apocalypse and I love that she stays true to what she believes.
I like the idea of the telepathic coma too.

Archangel killed a lot of people in this arc, but it wasn't his fault really, but he has to be stopped. That's the whole rub with X-force. Even when they win, it doesn't feel like a win which makes it an emotionally complex book. Whatever happens, I hope Psylocke is the one to do it. I am craving some serious Betsy bad-assery.

Yeah, that's the bottom line for me, too.
