Is that half-naked woman being hugged by Archangel in the Uncanny X-Force cover... Betsy?? Damn, I hope not...

The Generation Hope cover confuses me. First, why are Hope and her "Lights" fighting Storm, Magneto and "Juggolossus" (...hey, he actually looks better with Juggernaut's helmet!) if they are supposed to be ON THE SAME SIDE?? And what is Betsy doing there, if she's supposed to be on Logan's side?? Unless she's a double agent... or, more likely, that this cover isn't a literal interpretation of the characters appearing and the interaction they'll have with each other.

What brings me to my request: Betsy, Hope, you're my two favorite X-Ladies. Please, don't hurt each other.

I'm now more convinced that Betsy will side with Cyclops and stay in Utopia, even though she still will be part of X-Force. I think it will be pretty interesting to watch her dynamic with Wolverine from now on. Just my 2 cents.

Could that be AOA Lady Mandarin on the X-Force cover?

Warren stay in AOA while AOA Nightcrawler joins X-Force

I wonder who the girl is with Archangel?

And who could be the villain of the most important X-Story ever? Dark Phoenix?

It's Krakoa. It's in the cover.

I think she's Betsy. Warren probably wants her as his queen.
But again these covers should not be taken literally. Just like the Psylocke-Fantomex kiss cover.

y'know i thought that was Deathbird...then i noticed the shiny dagger and the fact those are not her wings

FSaker said...

@jarim77 - But... but Psylocke and Fantomex DID kiss!

Oh well, as long as she doesn't wear that suit, I'm okay. Betsy already shows a lot of flesh in her regular costume; the last thing she needs is an even more revealing one... Plus, what's up with her laser-blue psi-knife??

(plus, the New Mutants solicitation reveals that they're on the Blue side... does it mean that X-Factor is in the Gold one? If so, why didn't Marvel reveal it?)

I'm guessing maybe Betsy is so intent on saving Warren she sides with him. Maybe out of love & desperation or maybe she's trying to stay close to take him out. Now that I think of it has Warren been shown on any post schism x covers?

Side note: I love that New Mutants cover.

@FSaker

Yes they did kiss but it wasn't exactly what one might have expected from the cover. The cover image had them having what looked like really passionate and long kiss. That's not exactly what happened.

And I sort of like that outfit. It's sexy and menacing in the same time.

Yes, I agree with this.

And no I don't think Warren has been in any teasers. This makes me belive that Betsy may have to kill him at the end of this story :(

More than before, I really believe that Warren is purposely being left out of these post-Schism title pages so as not to ruin, or spoil, The Dark Angel Saga currently going in Uncanny X-Force. This is of course if he lives!

We've lost what feels like a lot of X-Men recently, and though I know a lot of people don't like the character much, I hope Warren survives. But if he is going to be saved, or killed even, it simply must be Betsy being the one to do either.

And that looks like Psylocke to me on the cover of UXF #17. The costume looks like a variation of her psi-armor(?).

Reading these makes me want to read New Mutants even less.

aw, I'm excited about New Mutants Matt.. c'mon, its Blink!

I think the woman on the X-Force IS Psylocke for sure. Its her astral version of herself, right? Didn't they just recently do a X-Force cover with Psylocke in a psychic battle as a version of Lady Mandarin? I hope I'm wrong and its really the new AOA Psylocke look and she is here to stay and mess things up for everyone for a year or two then die, all while confusing readers even more. Just like Revanche did in the 90's, lol... I love Psylocke. All these look great, I'm very excited to read X-Men and the gang this fall.
