You know, even though Kitty is technically closer to Colossus and Nightcrawler, I really think Psylocke fits better with them. Maybe because, just like them, she likes to fight, the adrenaline of the X-Men's adventures, and also to occasionally drink. It's nice to see Claremont bringing the three of them together.
But... Bloody Bess? Really? She was a terrible character (as were the other Crimson Pirates and the Goths and the interdimensional slavers). Plus, the last time we saw her, she was actually trying to ENSLAVE the X-Men. And enjoying it.
If Claremont wanted to have an alien chick asking for Kurt's help, Cerise would be a MUCH better choice (unless if she she were currently dead, but she isn't... is she? It's been a long time since I last saw her in any comic book...
