The art seems to be a little more irregular than the preview pages showed. Overall, I still think it looks good, but some panels look badly drawn.

I still need to read it to take my own conclusions, but it seems this first issue was loved by some people and hated by some other people. I hope the next issues will generate more love than hate from the readers.

Speaking of readers, here's a link with the preview for the next issue of Wood's X-Men (and check out the AWESOME variant cover with the X-Women): http://www.comicvine.com/forums/comic-book-preview-1988/preview-x-men-11-1536994/

Fsaker,
Thanks I love that second cover with flashes of their original looks! Wish Bets got more than just ankle and wrists flashes though.

Yeah, me too. But her current uniform is great, so I'm okay with it being more featured than the pink, princess-y one she used to wear back in the Mutant Massacre days.

Her new X-Force uniform is great, too. It's been a long time since Betsy had not one, but TWO good uniforms (in the Remender era she also had two uniforms, but while the X-Force one was great since the Dark Angel Saga, I got tired of the blue bathing suit she was still wearing in her missions with the X-Men).
