The free "X-Men - Curse of the Mutants Saga" one-shot that came out today features an all-new interview with Victor Gischler, writer of the upcoming X-Men (vol. 3) title. A certain psychic ninja might be in his plans...Marvel: Can you sum up in a few words what you like about the roster of mutants you'll be dealing with?
Victor: The events in the first arc are big enough that the X-Men need all hands on deck, so we haven't settled into the core team just yet. It's still being decided. I can tell you that I have my eye on Gambit and am taking a closer look at Psylocke, but I need to discuss this with the bigwigs back at the X-Office, too. I am also warming up to Pixie. I think she's had the training wheels come off recently and is ready to struf her stuff a little more. I also want to have a few "staples" on the team, but as I said, it's all still being discussed and nothing is fore sure yet until we battle our way thtough the first arc.

if she is going to look the way she looks in that picture i rather him keep his hands off of her character. especially if he wants to bring in stupid pixie too. uncanny should stay the shitty book starring pixie.

So you rather have Betsy doing cameos in Uncanny than as a full-time member in another book? Geez. I hope he gets her on his team. She also should probably be in X-Force, then we'd have Betsy every month twice! No more cameos! =]
I have to admit at first I was totally judging this book, but I am slowly warming up to it more and more. I'm hoping the first arc is fun and action packed. And with Betsy that would be icing on the cake.

Psylocke and Elecktra should be the new Ken and Ryu in Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Just a thought :)
If Gischler wants to use Psylocke in his main team, that's nice! I'd like to see her in Legacy as well, but come on, that title will always be "Rogue and her coworkers"; I don't think Carey intends on making her a constant presence in his book (what's a shame, because he's definitely stronger with team stories than with solo stories, although his Rogue solo stories are quite good too).
