X-Men: Legacy #235 Spoilers

Spoilers: At the headquarters of the Right, Hodge rips Karma's leg. Cypher realizes they're all going to die and convinces Warlock to hold up his end. Meanwhile, Cyclops sends Rogue to help Alpha Team track Hope, even though Emma can't detect any psychic or empathic link between them. Wolverine tells Nightcrawler to teleport Rogue in Hope's direction, while the rest of the team will be following them: Angel flying; Logan, X-23 and Ariel in one car; and Colossus and Psylocke in another car. Back at Utopia, Pierce shuts down Cerebra. At the Right's HQ, Warlocke takes the life-force of Hodge and all his soldiers, killing all of them. The New Mutants then tells Emma how Bastion is tracking Cable and Hope. A fighter jet is sent to deal with the Alpha Team. It fires a missile, which hits their first car. Logan and X-23 will heal, Ariel won't. She dies. In Nebraska, the Alpha Team finally reaches Cable and Hope and warns him about how they are tracking them. Cable realizes Hope will only be safe away from him. Rogue (with all their powers) and Kurt set off to escort Hope back to Utopia while Cable and Alpha Team stay behind as a distraction to Bastion.

I'm sad about Ariel's death, she was such a fun character, but at least I think her death was meaningful (at least to this issue) and she died like a hero.

LuckyStar, I noticed that in the prior chapters of Second Coming you showed both covers for each issue (Finch's and Granov's). In case you want to add later the Finch cover for this issue, in this post, I found a link at ComicVine: http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/4/48157/1198960-num_risation0008_super.jpg

It doesn't have Psylocke in it, but Rogue is displaying her psychic butterfly effect, so maybe some Betsy fans would like to see it...

Oh thanks!

BTW, Psylocke appears in Pixie Strikes Back #3 and X-Men Forever Annual #1. I'll post spoilers and scans for those later. :D

Thats a really cheap death to a character who was barely an X-man with loads of potential. that really sucks.

So, do they fix Karma's leg?

"So, do they fix Karma's leg?"

She'll still be in the x-plane in the next issue of X-Force.

It seems she will have a metal leg by New Mutants #15.

I´m so glad it was Ariel who died instead of someone i liked ... sorry guys lol , but I´m still not digging the fact Karma lost her leg what a tragic character u_u I like her it sucks because she´s the only lesbian character that I know of in X Men apart form Mystique and Destiny but I guess Mystique is bisexual anyways, it sucks.

Big news game fans! Capcom is doing a poll for characters, they say its not for MvC3, yeah sure... ;)

I think you know what to do Psy-fans!

I think there might be a loop hole for Ariel, she saw the missile before it hit and she was in the arch of the car door. Not likely but its not like they showed the burnt corpse.

Hate to criticize Betsy but if she sensed it coming why didn't she put up a Tk shield >_<

Surely Storm should have been on this team, excellent field leader, wind speed to cover ground, weather manipulation to cover their tracks and electricity to mess up the robotic equipment.

Storm can't just get up and go.
She is housewife now.

I know, I've basically written off Storm from the X-Men. She's so boring now that she's like a Queen or something. It's stupid. We all knew she had once been worshipped, but she was edgy when she fought knife-fights to win leader of the Morlocks, when she lost her powers. . . basically when she was leading a more edgy lifestyle. Now she's in the lap of luxury, which is hardly interesting. Can they please get a divorce? They could disagree on some major issue and Storm can leave his ass and hang out with Gambit. Oh, the days when he would call her Stormy were much better than the days of her being some dude's old lady. :/

When she was around I was mostly bored of her but now i kind of miss her. Wolverine, Beast and Storm should stick to being X-men! especially at a time when they are needed more than ever.

Whats actually happened to astonishing X-men series? O_O

@anon

Astonishing X-men gets its release date pushed back a week every time it misses its release date. It's been about 4-6 months though since its last release.

When does Doomwar take place in congruence with all this Marvel U/Second Coming stuff? I assumed Doomwar and Siege were taking place around the same time, which would explain why Storm is out of commission, but Marvel hasn't gone out of its way to confirm anything.
