i like Psylocke's look actually, even though she looks a lot more innocent than she should xD

Finally, an ASIAN Betsy!

Agreed. Betsy does look Asian, which is a great plus! However, she also looks youngervand innocent, which I do not take that much of a liking in. & poor Karma :[

She definitely looks Asian, and I LOVE Choi's art, but... am I seeing things or she is also looking YOUNGER than X-23??

It's not anything that compromises his art, though, just a minor detail.

Oh, and how could I not comment this? For once, Sunspot is speaking in PORTUGUESE instead of Spanish!!!

Kyle and Yost, thanks for remembering that Roberto is BRAZILIAN!!

I think she looks younger than X-23 as well. I also thinks she looks like Ellen Page when she was Shadowcat in X3.

I actually quite disappointed in Choi's Psylocke. Not in a bitchy way its just his renditions of some of the other x-men have been perfect.

what kind of a surname is mckenzie for the king of the ocean?!?

@ Anonymous 11:46 - Yeah although she looks Asian she´s so young and inocent looking so It´s not an accurate Psylocke even X-23 looks better :(

Anonymous said...

That's because Asian people always look younger than they really are haha

Yes Choi is good, but his Psylocke is not. It's a decent picture of some girl. When the characterization is completely off, that means he got it wrong. Fail.

Btw, she's not supposed to be just any asian, she's supposed to be Japanese. She looks like a half Philipino here. And before you say all asians are the same - DON'T. They look totally different.

Also, she looks like a Plain Jane, which Psylocke is not. That is wrong.

Anyone else think there was a mixup? I think the one labeled Psylocke is X-23 and vice versa. Visually it would fit; especially since it would then put Laura across from Logan, and Betsy across from Warren.

Filipino is spelled with an F. The Philippines is spelled with a PH.

Got it. Philifino and PhiliPHines. Check.

I realllllly hope that mixup gets fixed before it goes to print......

Does anyone else see the stunning resemblance between the panel labelled "Psylocke" (incorrectly, I might add) & this actress who played Shadowcat in the X-Men movies?:
