centurion said...: @Luckystar - Another aspect of these scans that I loved was Betsy's sentimental side. Although she is a trained warrior, she can be kind and compassionate when the situation demands it. We see Betsy crying because of Dr. Takiguchi's death. It is a poignant moment, but one that gives us insight into the sensitive side of Betsy. I like it. UXM 515 is shaping up to be an excellent issue.

PsySpears said...: To me it looks like Land still is trying out what he wants Betsy to look like,It seems he took on fans critisism about the asian eyes thing,and tried to correct it.He isnt a bad guy,which is why i feel bad for him when people bitch.He IS a Psylocke fan after all (Well im guessing,he does like the Strong,busty superhero girl type lol) Im happy with the slow re-intro to Betts as a charater too.and i agree with centurionIts VERY Aussie outback (which i LOVE!!); September 24, 2009 at 6:20 AM

FSaker said...: @PsySpears - It's nice that he's trying to do that, and Betsy looks pretty in it. My biggest complaint is that she looks nothing like she looked in Uncanny X-Men #511. I think it's good that Land remembered to draw her like an Asian woman, but he could try to still keep some similarities from his older depiction of her. The way he did the change, it looks like #515 Psylocke is one person and #511 Asian Psylocke is another person.

Nevertheless, despite the weird smile she shows in the second panel, Psylocke looks great, and to my surprise, her scene with Dr. Takiguchi is really touching! I'll give Land many points for that!; September 24, 2009 at 9:38 AM
