X-Men: Legacy #227 Spoilers

Utopia • Tie-In

Spoilers: Rogue, Gambit and Danger try to find Trance. Meanwhile, she had lost control over her powers and basically destroys everything around her. The authorities are called, and Moonstone tells them off and says she'll handle it instead in order to get revenge on Rogue. After Rogue finds Trance, she tries to calm her down, getting her to focus on her powers again. Karla arrives and shoots Danger through the chest. Gambit tries to attack Moonstone, but she goes intangible and then punches him. Rogue punches Karla through a tank, depleting the last of the powers she got from Ares. Moonstone, however, recovers and beats the hell out of Rogue. When Trance finally regains control of her powers, she is apparently able to hit Karla, who turns off her intangibility. As soon as she does that, Gambit powers some cards and tosses them at Karla, which staggers her a little. Pixie arrives and bring them to their HQ, where they give Trance medical attention. Scott then drops some hints on what's to come in the future.

Notes: Those spoilers were provided by CrimsonComedian over at the CBR forums.

So is Legacy going to be Rogues book now? would of been better if they had kept Xavier as the main and focused on different partner X-men every story. Cant believe Ms Marvel shot Danger in the face! hahaha stone cold. Do u think Danger will stay with the X-men? I wanna see her take down some Sentinels, Marvel vs Capcom 2 has made me despise them.

I disagree. I'm glad Xavier is out os the picture. Not even Carey could make him interesting. I'd rather read about Rogue.

Anonymous #1, the Sentinel in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is truly a menacing character. I remember when it made its debut in X-Men Children of the Atom. I hear MvC2 is doing well on Xbox Live and PSN.

Rogue has been a popular x-lady for decades, and she is certainly one of definitive X-Men. If Legacy serves as a focal point for Rogue's character, it is certainly a status she has earned.

Wow i miss X-men C.O.T.A!! I agree with you Centurion, it about time Rogue made some headway. Not only with her powers but as a character! I'm excited for what's to come

Hi, Mikey! I was able to get a copy of X-Men C.O.T.A. for the original Playstation from ebay. The best version is clearly the arcade. Psylocke was well rendered and beautifully animated in many of the Marvel versus games.

Best,
centurion

I think Psylocke may be poised to take a similar position to Rogue in the future.

Well I for one am so sick of Rogue, I find her to be the most self absorbed boring character and when shes with Gambit it just gets worse. I suppose the silver lining is if they shove her in Legacy she cant take away Betsy panel time in uncanny.

Was thinking about where Danger belongs and i gotta say she would make an excellent addition to X-force. Having now read the series Im not sure I would like Betsy murdering everyone, i feel she has a bit more class than that. geust appearance is fine ;)

Yes, as I mentioned in another thread on this blog, I don't see Betsy as being a good fit for X-Force at this point. Betsy could conceivably lead an element of the X-Men. Perhaps a "dark" Betsy could be written who painfully extracts information from her foes as the telepathic interrogator of the team, leaving permanent mental damage, but I just can't see Betsy as being a violent, bloodthirsty killer.
