It looks even better in High Quality. Kudos to Dodson.

Hate the end with her hair up and her face that ugly. If they wanted a new leader for snoozefest Geek Squad they should have called Sage. The outfit looks neat though.

Bitter much? I was very satisfied with this issue. It was great. :)

Idiot much? That's the only way you can enjoy this.

1, 2 step out of my face

That last pictures jaw does seem a bit too big even by Psylocke standards, but the other pictures are the beautiful, simply the best of Betsy Ive seen since her resurrection by Alan Davis.

Whats wrong with her being with the X-club? Shes worked with them before and theyre a bunch of cool characters, also because they are mostly intellect she gets to be the main fighter. All win.

She doesn't appear to be wearing her new uniform in the submarine scene. Maybe its not a wetsuit after all!

The whole X-club seems wearing the same uniform.
I bet when Betsy is out of the submarine in Dark Avengers #7 she will be in her classic Hand costume again.
I expected more Betsy in this issue.
I think we have to wait to the Yost mini to really get lots of Betsy.

You know, there is still doubt about what is the structure the X-Club is visiting in the end of this issue, but a friend of mine in Orkut suggested something interesting: could it be Providence, Cable's former floating technological island?

If it is, Betsy's remark (I'm not sure if it was hers, but whatever) about this being the end of the X-Men in California would make sense, as it would make sense to name the final issue as "Exodus". Maybe Scott plans to rebuild Providence and move all the X-Men (and maybe all the mutants) into the island and departing to somewhere out of Osborn's jurisdiction.

The only problem is that some X-Men may be against this idea, and with Magneto returning, a technological island isn't exactly a safe haven...

@FSaker I like that idea about Providence! Madison Jeffries with Betsy's help make some revisions to it. He can manipulate, plastic, and glass as easily as metal!

Madison Jeffries in some ways resembles a new age Forge.

Anonymous said...

@Centurion He really does. I liked how his last base of operations went all "Cylon" on him and kicked him out. LOL. P.S. You're hawt.

Thanks, Anonymous #6 :) Yes, I love Forge and would love to see him again.

FSaker said...

Me too, Centurion. It's a shame that Warren Ellis apparently killed Forge in Astonishing X-Men #30.

Forge has never been a particularly interesting character to me,except during his early days in Uncanny X-Men and, then,in X-Factor.Good riddance,I say, especially after his poor usage in Messiah Complex.

But,back to Betsy, these scans prove that she should be moved from this book(Uncanny X-Men).

Yes, Selene, I am not a fan of that last scan pane either... But you make a good point regarding Forge's glory days in Uncanny, though I would prefer Betsy remain in Uncanny or at least Legacy. I started reading the X-Men in the early 1990s when it was popular among elementary school children :)

Some of Forge's best days come from that period in X-Men history when there was a dramatic influx and resuffling of X-men and X-Factor members, and the X-Men were just getting re-adjusted to the X-Mansion Hey, Fsaker! Who knows, Forge could be resurrected some day...
