X-Force writers, Chris Yost and Craig Kyle, join CBR to answer your questions in today’s X-Position. Fortunately, there was yet another question regarding Psylocke, mine again! LOL.
Psylocke always relies on her psi-knife instead of using other aspects of her psi-powers. Now that she's a telepath again as well as a telekinetic (not to mention her ninja skills), can we expect her to use her abilities in more creative ways?
Chris Yost: In the upcoming “Psylocke” miniseries, she’s going to be using her telepathy, her telekinesis, and two katana swords to get the job done. So you’re definitely going to see a wide range of abilities and use of those abilities coming up.

An interesting answer... I remember the days in the Australian outback when Betsy used her telepathy to read the minds of her foes. It's very promising that she may be using her fully panoply of telephatic and telekinetic skills in the upcoming miniseries. In the past, the emphasis on Psylocke's array of skills was usually either largely telepathic or telekinetic. Knowing how well rounded Psylocke is as a mutant, she can use all of these skills to conquer a wide range of foes. I would be happy if new telepathic/telekinetic skills would surface, too.
Personally I hope her telekinesis fades over time. What I'd really like to see is the exploration of her Precognitive powers. There aren't many (or any) mutants with the ability, so it could really give her a niche of her own.
Anonymous #1.
I've asked editor Daniel Ketchum about her precognitive powers. He said that there aren't any plans to touch them on this mini series. But I'm looking forward to see Betsy using her powers. This series sounds like it's gonna kick some major ass! :D
LuckyStar, it was clever of you to ask if if Betsy was to use her "telepathy" in the mini, and not her "fragments of psychic abilities". ;)
Now it's all but confirmed that the telepathy is back and she's a teke too! Yeah.
That was a good question Luckystar!
Great question, great answer! Now where's some more preview art for this mini??
Great question, great answer, she has so much potential that up until now hasnt even been contemplated.
Thank you LuckyStar. I really hope this mini is a sign of Marvel trying to push our betsy into the forefront!
LuckyStar, needless to say, since it has already been said, but that was the right question to ask! The only power that I don't think is appropriate for Betsy is the ability to fly or levitate over the ground, as was seen in New Exiles. It would be interesting to see if the precognitive ability is given to Betsy, then she she somehow incorporates it into her fighting skills.
LOVE Betsy in these previews!!

Thanks, Askanipsion! I saw those scans as well. They are remarkably beautiful. I think those of us who condemned the other, uncolored Dodson image in an early blog should apologize... Myself included.
Heh, why am I not surprised that the question about Psylocke came from you, LuckyStar? You rock, girl!
Nice to know that you kinda made Yost admit she's a telepath again (even if she's now a minor telepath), and even better to know that he plans to explore ALL her skills, as a telekinetic, as a fighter... AND as a telepath! Go Yost!
I like psylockes new outfit
