Jubilee's costume reminds me a lot of her Age of Apocalypse one. As much as I disliked vampire Jubilee, despite it showing she could still lead, the black suit was one of better looks.

Same for Rogue, she's had some good & bad ones. I thought she looked good in the blue/black, red from X-Treme, if not necessarily the uniform. Or the Avengers take on her classic hooded uniform, just without the giant X on her stomach.; October 24, 2019 at 11:06 AM

Rahsaan said...: Bets' hair is almost the right color. Glad someone made it lavender, but it should still be darker as it was before they started making it near pink to differentiate her body and Kwannon's. Should be dark lavender, light purple if Kwannon is going back to her brunette roots.

As for this cover, I'm glad many of you enjoy it. Alas, it is not for me. This artist, Otto has drawn much better in the past, so I was alarmed to see this. Everyone looks like a Saturday Morning cartoon here.

To has confirmed that Rogue will be switching uniforms shortly. I pray that her replacement is green and black or green and white. Or all three. She can still also have a brown jacket, but green and yellow is not the look for her. Yellow is a great color. Just not on Anna.

Jubilee needs a complete and total update. I'd take her Department X look over this.

Jaime Braz said...: The art for the variant is different from the usual. Different doesn't mean bad just not the mainstream depiction of heroes. I also get cartoonish vibes by looking at it Rahsaan however it makes me happy and appreciative of the current Excalibur roster.

Despite the art style Betsy and her team are gorgeous. I'm enjoying her slimmer Captain Britain armor and her lavender hair only not this faint purple, neither the dark purple used in the past. The lavender purple that Marcus To uses in his artwork is the perfect color for Betsy's hair.

I don't have a reason to not trust the rumors of Rogue getting a new uniform. I wish it suits her personality and agree with Alex about her X-Treme and Uncanny Avengers uniforms.

Jubilee in her current uniform is a mix of the 90s run and her vampire days. The black look is gone because she regained her jolly nature after she was cured.; October 24, 2019 at 4:46 PM
