Recap 2015 — Across the Battleworld
2015 brought two major chapters of Betsy Braddock’s story to a close. G. Willow Wilson concluded the all-female X-Men team’s run with a subterranean adventure, while Simon Spurrier’s X-Force reached its finale with Psylocke confronting Fantomex and the consequences of the team’s increasingly fractured mission.
The regular Marvel line was then interrupted by Secret Wars, as the collapse of the multiverse gave way to the patchwork reality of Battleworld. Although the main Betsy was largely absent during the event, several alternate versions of Psylocke appeared across its many domains, offering different interpretations of the character until the Marvel Universe was restored.

Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Thanks to Secret Wars, we had lots of Psylocke(s) in 2015!
Even though the A-Force one was likely killed by the zombies, the other alternate Psylockes made up for that. We had a pre-body switch one in Inferno, a Lady Mandarin one fighting Shang-Chi, a '92 one being more efficient than all the other X-Men COMBINED... and even though the child version in the AvX tie-in only appeared in two panels, her mischievous smile watching Illyana kicking the Avengers' asses was great!
