Psylocke Confirmed for Deadpool Game

AusGamers took the time to infiltrate High Moon Studios while out at GamesCom this year to speak with Deadpool game director, Sean Miller who confirms Psylocke will make an appearance in Deadpool's upcoming game.

AusGamers: And will we see, I mean, can you talk about any of the characters that we’ll see?

Sean Miller:
We’re not announcing any of the other characters yet. We have talked a little bit of course, as you saw Psylocke in there. She’ll be making an appearance, we will have some announcements on that.

In the game, Deadpool, like the comic books, will have voices in his head and will be guiding him. Deadpool will be releasing for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.

nobody worried that betsy didn't show up on any of the marvel crap now relaunch?

I think that's her in the "A Plus X" preview image between Spider Woman and Rachel.

Yes, she is in the "A+X" poster composed by the four A+X covers. In fact, she's one of the only Blue side X-Men featured in it (the others are Storm and Hope).

She'll most likely be around during Marvel NOW. Unfortunately, she may not play a big role now, as we're not sure if Brian Wood's X-Men book will still continue, and it doesn't look like she will be added to the cast of Wolverine and the X-Men (as Storm will) - she may appear in Bendis's book, but I doubt she'll be a main character in it (as the five original X-Men, Wolverine and Kitty).

Now, about the Deadpool game news, I'm glad to see the confirmation that the Asian woman is indeed Psylocke! I'm not too fond of Deadpool, but the game trailer is amazing (let's hope the actual game is at least as good as the trailer).

I hope she will be playable in some game modes, although I'll already be very happy if she just talks with a British accent.

I like Deadpool but the fact is he needs a GREAT writer to work.

As for the game. I hope you can actually use her. At least for one level/mission.

However concept of the "All New X-Men" is the most boring idea I have heard in years. Meh....

yes she's features very small...almost hidden in two covers....but not on main books, not mentioned and we still don't know the fate of x-force...I'm worried

Is this Psylocke all burned up in Uncanny X 34? I hope not but it looks like her costume around the legs.

@rocketboy - Yeah, I thought it looked like her, too. But when this cover was posted in this blog, someone else said in the comments that the burned person is supposed to be Evan (the kid Apocalypse clone) himself, as a message that his peaceful persona died and the Apocalypse persona emerged.

I don't know if Remender or anyone else at Marvel answered who is the burned person in the cover. Betsy is in a cover for the A+X miniseries, so it's likely that she will survive the Final Execution arc in Uncanny X-Force, but we can only hope...
