New Mutants #13 Spoilers

Spoilers: Vanisher overhears Cyclops and Domino talking about Bastion targeting teleporters. He runs off to his brothel in Portugal, only to end up ambushed by Steven Lang, where he seemingly dies. Bastions tells Donald Pierce that they have taken the final teleporter off the board and orders him to proceed as planned. The X-Club arrive in San Francisco, where they track one of Bastion's towers in a oil rig. In Utopia, Cyclops thanks Beast for staying, however Hank doesn't seem that happy. At the mess hall, Moonstar tells Cable that her team took it rough covering for him and wonders if his new 'hobby' is worth it. Hope takes it personally, and both end up brawling. Cyclops orders them to break it up, however Cable thinks Scott should stop keeping Hope in a bubble, as she makes her own way now. Suddenly, Donald Pierce attacks. He suceeds in destroying the X-Men's jets. Cyclops kills him. Later, Hope tells Cable that she lied when she said she was ready to come back to the present.

Notes: No Psylocke this issue!

Such a shame Betsy isn't in it... I'd like to know if she would take Hope's side or Danielle's side. But at least she was quite important in the 5 first chapters (and also cameoing in the 6th one); that's quite impressive for any X-Man nowadays. Let's hope she returns in the next chapters!!

By the way, who won the fight (or landed the most punches/kickes/etc.), Moonstar or Hope?

I think it was a draw. haha Pierce exploding everything stopped their catfight!

Its amazing that Danni, has been around so long and is stillthis little girl. I used to LOVE the new muants when i was like 6 or 7 years old and they are still around...CRAZY! lol Glad Cypher was brought back from the dead, would love to see something develop between he and Betsy. It was hinted at years ago, but now that she has been with Angel, and Thunderbird Doug may not have the *ahem* equipment to satisfy her!

Isnt Dani a little too old to be picking fights with Hope? its kind of pathetic. I mean if it was one of the new X-men then maybe i could understand but sheesh...

Another testament to how terrible this storyline has become. I enjoyed the first 5 chapters too.
Not buying any other issues of Uncanny or any of the series.
When they're all back at issue 1 or whatever, volume ___ for each title. Maybe I'll check it out then.
But Disney's got control! lol
and Fraction is awful

Dani wasn't picking a fight with Hope she was speaking to Cable and Hope punched her in the face. Fraction made it so that Dani and some of the other New Mutants were only 21 Hope is like 18 now. When it comes down to it if someone punched me in the face I would have kicked their @$$ too.

Really Hope needs still needs to learn her place. The only person who is press for her to be around is Scott. This story is all about "his fath in hope"

"Disney's got control"

Maybe they will start sneaking some Disney characters into the mix, it would be funny to see a shadowed out mickey on the cover of the new x-force team... mmm I wonder who that is?

For now I will have to mentally replace pixie with tinkerbell , I think that will make Fractions stories a little more entertaining.

But remember, clap your hands if you believe, don't let Kurt die!

Hope lied about being ready to return to the X-Men? For me this means she might not even break the Scarlet Witch's spell by the end of SC. They even might wait a few years before doing another event where she is older and finally ready.

But it looks like not everybody agrees with Cyclops. Betsy will likely side with him though. Looks like the dome is coming.

Yup, Dani is a little too old to pick fights with teenagers... but let's face it, it's not the first time she does it. She already fought Blindfold and Ink, remember?

I think the fight is justifiable in the circumstances: her friend lost a leg, two acquaintances were killed, and all because of this girl. She's not the only one upset at Hope; last issue Hope also got bad comments from Magma and Wolverine.

As for Cypher, remember that now he's not a minor anymore, so he may have what it takes to satisfy Betsy. But I don't know if they even relate to each other emotionally now, due to everything that happened to both (him dying and reviving as a technorganic zombie; her getting a body swap, dying, reviving, getting another body swap and a body re-swap, etc.).

And come on people, stop blaming Disney for everything. If Disney was interfering in the way Marvel handles its titles, we wouldn't have had Ares ripped in half, Sentry blown to a skeleton, Stryker cut in half, Hodge decapitated and every other act of violence that happened recently.

(ignores this issue)

Guys, can we please talk about the fact that X-men #1: Curse of the Mutants already has a spinoff with "Namor: The First Mutants"? I thought more mutant vampires were bad... atlantean vampires might just take the cake.
