X-Men: Legacy #233 Spoilers

Spoilers: Rogue, using Psylocke's powers, breaks Proteus' hold on everyone, except for Husk. Meanwhile, Magneto throws up a shield against Proteus (Blindfold), so that he can't possess Erik too. Proteus, upset, takes them back to the ground. When Husk is close to touch Rogue, Psylocke arrives and uses her psi-knife on Paige, setting her free. Proteus and Magneto keep on fighting. Erik reveals he's been distracting Proteus in order to understand his energy pattern, as he's made of pure energy, electrons. This way, Magneto is able to purge Proteus out of Blindfold's body, sending him away. Psylocke asks him where is Proteus, to what Magneto replies that he doesn't know and that he will come back sooner or later. Rogue and Destiny meet at the shore. Irene tells her she will be dead before the day is out, but that she's proud of her daughter. Destiny also implies that Rogue is bound to Hope in ways that matter, and so they say goodbye. Irene also looks for Blindfold and tells her she's not her mother, perhaps a great-grandmother. Magneto hits on Rogue once more, but Anna is rude to him. The X-Men fix the Blackbird and finally leave the Muir Island.

So no one dies, after all? I'm glad to know that Paige and Blindfold survive (I won't say I'm happy for Betsy because the previews themselves already showed she would be saved), but Proteus should have been destroyed. Leaving someone as dangerous as him loose is not a good idea...

Sorry for going off-topic, but have you guys managed to find the Second Coming Prepare free issue released today? If so, can you please tell if Psylocke appears in it?

Thanks in advance!

FSaker-

She doesn't appear in the original story written by Carey (it features, Iceman, Cable/Hope, Cannonball, Magneto & Wolverine)

But, they do show a few pages of the Second Coming one-shot drawn by Finch (which look incredible, considering I'm not a big fan of his work)

Psylocke appears in two the pages. Both pages she her alongside, Wolverine, Angel, Laura, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Magik & Cyclops.

It's basically the same team that appears on the upcoming variant cover for Uncanny by Finch.

My suspicions were correct as that would be the team Cyke sends out, and it wasn't just a pin up!

That's cool!

But... Cyclops wasn't in Finch's Uncanny variant cover, was he?

Oh well, I just hope Betsy isn't the one that dies in the first month. Although if she is, but the death scene is as touching and meaningful as Fraction, Carey and the other writers said (and Choi even said Oback cried when she read the scene), that wouldn't be too bad. But I still hope it isn't her.

No he wasn't, but you know what I meant.

Sure, CmX, you were very clear (by the way, thanks for the information!). It's just that you got me curious... that cover seemed to indicate that only the seven X-Men in it would go to Hope's rescue, but since you say that Scott appears with them, do you think he will go in the mission with them? Or maybe he's just giving the other X-Men instructions? Does Magik appear teleporting him too?

I'm curious, because if Scott actually witnesses the moment a fellow x-man dies, maybe that would make him a little less cold in mission than he usually is. And that would be good to show his human side, but at the same time it would be very bad for the mission...

I read at the X-Books forums that you're with problems with your scan machine now, but when the problem is solved, could you please post these pictures with Betsy in this blog?
