So I asked Mike Carey about Psylocke in the upcoming X-Men crossover event "Second Coming" and here's what he had to say...
CmX: Hi Mike! Can we expect Psylocke to have a decent role (or at very least noticeable) in Second Coming?
Mike Carey: Oh yeah, she's in the mix and very visible. She gets some great moments, actually.

yyyyyeahhhh!!
Great news!!
But I hope she's still alive by the end of Second Coming...
If they kill her it would be super redundant
@FSaker - Hi. I doubt that will happen... Betsy is now starting to get her feet wet in significant X-storylines again. She's too popular to kill of again, which means I agree with Anonymous 1:30AM.
Best,

@Centurion - I guess you're right, she is indeed getting a lot of attention lately. Although that may not be a guarantee of her survival; I still remember how Grant Morrison made Jean Grey be so cool, and she became so popular when he was writing her (I usually dislike Jean, but Morrison's Jean was one of the coolest X-Men EVER!)... but she still died in the end.
