FSaker said...: Well, Claremont has a good point. The retcons establishing Kwannon probably considered that it would make more sense for Matsuo to find a Japanese assassin rather than a Chinese one - but yeah, the Chinese gangs probably wouldn't really accept Lady Mandarin as their leader.

Maybe we'll soon see Marvel once again retconning Kwannon's origins as a Chinese-Japanese woman. If they do, fortunately Betsy is no longer in Kwannon's body and this whole mess won't affect her at all.; May 17, 2022 at 7:05 PM

Amenth is shown to be hidden somewhere in the Otherworld and it opens the door for a follow up story to X of Swords. Tini Howard can revisit the lose ends to Apocalypse's hidden origins with Genesis and their family.; May 18, 2022 at 10:10 AM

Hickman's Four Horsemen are amazing characters (he managed to make Horsemen that are even better than Remender's Horsemen, who I considered the best incarnation of the team at the time), so I really hope eventually Apocalypse will gather his four children and do something (I mean, most of the mutant villains will eventually return to their villainous ways, right?).; May 18, 2022 at 10:25 AM
Jaime Braz said...: @FSaker it will be a huge disservice to Hickman granted the original four Horsemen fade away or only Death sticking out and around. The right place to do this is Knights of X for its connection to Amenth somewhere in the Otherworld and the lost Redroot of Arakko in its dimensions. Apocalypse was spirited away from the Excalibur run and left many plot holes in his wake.

Genesis is also a breakout character like her sister Isca both of who need a reunion and Betsy a rematch with Isca without the vile interference from Opal Luna Saturnyne.; May 20, 2022 at 12:35 PM

Jaime Braz said...: @FSaker Apocalypse was given a strong origin for him to be excused and turn over a new leaf after reuniting with his family. Going back to his old ways is a relapse. I can see the memes of Aporelapse flood the comic circles if editors ignore Hickman.

His children were antagonists heeding the commands of Annihilation. With Arakko flourishing on Mars it's likely they participate. Death seems to be drawn to Ororo and Betsy which is a good thing for them being heroines of high morals and kindness.; May 20, 2022 at 4:44 PM
