Recap 2021 • The year saw the conclusion of Excalibur with issue #26 in December. Looking back at 2021, the complicated situation between Betsy Braddock and Kwannon was the focus of many stories. Ultimately, both women were left on good terms with each other. A big crossover between all X-Books, called The Hellfire Gala, was published in June; however, it had little impact on Betsy or Excalibur. Tini Howard's Excalibur concluded with an all-out war between Excalibur and the forces of King Arthur. Regrettably, Betsy’s out-of-character portrayal under Howard's pen left a lot to be desired and many fans disappointed with Betsy's role as Captain Britain. 	Hellions #10 • Funny Games Part II: Hitbox [Alternate] A Betsy Braddock robot built by Arcade haunts Kwannon’s perfect dream of a life living with her daughter.
	Excalibur #19 • Wild Violets Betsy Braddock’s spirit finds refuge in a well in Avalon. Once Kwannon finds her, Betsy comes to terms with her failures and returns home.
APRIL
	Excalibur #20 • No Pity from your Friends Betsy Braddock tracks down Malice, who’s set loose on Krakoa. Betsy makes amends with Kwannon and convinces Malice to forgive herself.
MAY
	Hellions #11 • Funny Games III: Kill Screen [Alternate] The Betsy Braddock robot keeps haunting Kwannon for what it feels like 30 years before the illusion is shattered.
JUNE
	Hellions #12 • Gatecrashing Betsy Braddock meets Kwannon at the Hellfire Gala, both women now on good terms with each other.
	Excalibur #21 • Don't Feel Like Dancin' Betsy Braddock resumes her role as Captain Britain and attends the Hellfire Gala with Excalibur, where she faces Coven Akkaba’s Reuben Brousseau.
	X-Men #21 • The Beginning Betsy Braddock is among the many mutants telepathically casting her vote for the new X-Men team.
	Planet-Size X-Men #1 • Fireworks Betsy Braddock is welcomed to Planet Arakko after Krakoa’s Omega-level mutants terraform Mars as a new home for the Arakkii.
	X-Corp #2 • A Shark in the Water [Illusion] Betsy Braddock is seen dancing with Banshee at the Hellfire Gala. An illusion created by Mastermind.
	Marvel's Voices: Pride #1 • You Deserve Betsy Braddock enjoys the dance floor at the Hellfire Gala along with Kate Pryde, Galura and Jubilee.
JULY
	Excalibur #22 • Treasures of Britain Betsy Braddock leads Excalibur while invading Merlyn’s castle in the Holy Republic of Fae in order to investigate the wizard.
AUGUST
	Children of the Atom #6 • Party of One Betsy Braddock has a chat with Cannonball and Banshee during the Hellfire Gala.
SEPTEMBER
	Excalibur #23 • In the Service of Lord Doom Betsy Braddock and Excalibur escorts Dr. Doom to Avalon in order to find an artifact within Castle Le Fay. Betsy and Doom ultimately team up.
OCTOBER
	Excalibur #24 • By the Pleasure of the Court Betsy Braddock interrogates the rulers of Sevalith. Captain Britain also attends the trial of the false Captains Britain presided by Saturnyne.
NOVEMBER
	Excalibur #25 • Come Fate Into The List Betsy Braddock leads Excalibur and Captain Britain Corps against the forces of King Arthur. Ultimately, Betsy regains her confidence and her butterfly effect.
DECEMBER
	Excalibur #26 • The Fantasy is Over Betsy Braddock devises a plan to fool King Arthur’s army. While she sends Excalibur back to Earth, Braddock remains behind in Otherworld to fight the rival forces.
