Wow, she looks fantastic! Russell Dauterman was definitely inspired when he designed this outfit, and the 3D model looks pretty great itself.
It's nice to see that the red on her face is makeup and not a mask, and even her pompadour hairstyle looks beautiful.
Judging from this video, the blue parts (vest, bracelets and boots) sometimes look like armor pieces, and sometimes they don't. Which I guess it's okay.
Its funny how ninja Psylocke is rarely deviated but they already have 2 alt looks for British Betsy in this game 😁
This is gorgeous and it looks even better in animation than it does in books.
That being said, I really am praying that Knights of X ties in directly to Krakoan affairs versus random obscurity, and that Tini starts telling some interesting stories for the team. Aside from seeing Betsy wasted, I would hate to see Bei who I am loving also for to waste.
And that final Moira X revelation... Whew! I'm even more team mutant sovereignty than ever now! @FSaker, Inferno is the best XBook since HoX/PoX.
@Rahsaan, yeah, I read the spoilers and they do seem very interesting! At the same time, it's sad that Hickman is leaving without tying some of the loose ends his stories left. Sure, other writers will probably try to address these loose ends, but it won't feel the same. Also, it's sad that the only time he used Betsy before leaving was in his XoS issues.
Speaking of XoS, I saw some news that Marvel will once again let readers vote for some candidates to join the next X-Men roster... but Gorgon is among the choices. Wasn't he dead and in the same situation as Rockslide (that is, mutants that can't be "resurrected" because they died in Otherworld and thus any attempt to bring them back will result in an amalgam of alternate versions)? Did the Five finally discovered a way to bring them back?
...That makes me realize that the one good thing about Betsy still being stuck in the Otherworld is that she probably won't die and have a "backup" brought back in her place. It's quite ironic that, for a character with such a messy background, Betsy is one of the few X-characters whose resurrection in Krakoa was actually NOT messy (with Excalibur showing that her psychic essence survived and entered the new body - while it's debatable whether the "resurrected" X-Men like Scott, Jean and Logan are even themselves or clones believing they are the people who they were modeled after, Betsy is definitely herself).
