Wow love that looks on Betsy. We rarely see her go that dark.

She looks fantastic! THIS look is what she should wear as Black Bishop of the UK/EU Hellfire Club.

She looks gorgeous. Meanwhile, everyone else is at the Inferno where the real fun is happening.

Now, THAT's the way we wanted her to be for so long: confident, strong, brave. If only it hadn't taken until issue #20 or #21 until she finally became like this...

And I agree with Rahsaan; while it is great to see Betsy finally being properly written in Excalibur, it's frustrating that she's once again sidelined from big events happening in Krakoa. Especially one that may be Hickman's final story for the X-Men.

Yeah. Do any of us care to see her interacting with the fairy tale ghouls and goblins instead of being in the thick of it on Earth with her people?

Stylistically the boob window is risky and our Betsy pulls it off. Off shoulders and cleavage free tops butter up her figure. When Marvel frees Betsy from the Captain Kettle horror keep those tips in mind racy but lacy.

Too little too late Betsy return to shape in her confidence. Been a while with Betsy out of shape and character for people to care. I'm furious Revanche stole the best of Betsy like Psylocke, butterfly, powers, personality, verbalisms, friends going scott free using the race card and used body whining. Betsy has the strike connections to Orchis, shield, hammer and Hickman doesn't make use of any. Meanwhile Revanche acts buddy buddy with Cyclops and Magik as if she's X-Man like really?!

Its like.. okay shes written.. confident now.. but what a waste of the last 2 full years of garbage and mistreatment. Loss of her signatures and identity but now she's confident.. hallelujah our prayers are answered lol

In the end.. Betsy had zero involvement with HoX/PoX.. she had a very tiny role in Swords of X and was immediately removed from the board in a humiliating fashion. You'd think a former fashion model and ambassador of mutants for the UK and Otherworld would habe more impact at the Gala... but nope! Now here we enter Inferno and Betsy has zero involvement and meanwhile Kwannon gets a role and a promotion as a field captain.

The first issue of Inferno sucked and most of the major players in it are going to have big downfalls cause they've all been doing terrible things and lying to people. Who cares lol

I'm not destroyed shes not involved in Inferno (but shame cause the art is gorgeous) im adding to the point that she hasn't had any involvement in any major plots.

Half of the line weren't apart of Hox/Pox though. She's had an entire book to herself which XoS spun out of and even with her in it for about 15 mins the repercussions of it directly affected her character and remade an entire CB corp in her image.

The Hellfire Gala was the Emma show at best and a cameo fest for everyone else. What was she gonna do other than show up and look good like she did in the Excalibur issue?

Okay I will no longer have any expectations for Betsy :)

Sure you can. Just gotta be realistic about them. :D

I don’t mind Otherworld stuff now and then but previous Excalibur and Cap Britain comics mixed it up with other corners of the marvel universe. I wish this title did the same

Gothic Victorian Betsy is something I never knew I needed until now.

Right? It stinks bad Marvel handling Betsy.

I mourn Gorgon he was a new face in town shot dead early. I take him at a heartbeat over Revanche. Tomi got a hella good power turning people to stone and a fresh ethnic getup. He pops up crazy.

Different colour, but this is basically the dress Betsy wore when she was spying at the Hellfire club, and Sage warned her off. :)

I doubt it's deliberate, but I'm going to see it as a callback.

I think Betsy would have been a great addition to the Hellfire trading company. The way she handles herself under pressure would have made her a great negotiator. They could have made her the Purple Queen, lol.

I hope this last issue puts Betsy in a more heroic light And finally gives her a win. Also I pray that the character isn't permanently benched once all the books are rebooted. It would really be a shame to lose such a great character with decades of history as a foundational member of the modern X-Men.

Big ups to Marcus To for staying on the book for the entire run!
