Indeed, and how great is it to see Betsy being a true leader to Excalibur? And Dragon Shogo is back! How can a little baby be so cool? And while at first I feared Rictor wouldn't fit in this team, it seems his presence and interactions with his teammates feel just natural.

Hopefully Betsy will manage to save Brian by the end of this issue (and then I guess he may either retire from his Captain Britain days or at least take a break and enjoy his family... or he may even become Captain Britain back and both him and Betsy carry the mantle, him on the Avengers corner, her on the X-Men one).

The art for Excalibur is cinematic and complements the Otherworld aesthetic. The scenes become more dynamic with To and the best part is the mythological creatures he designs.

The cover answers my suspicion that Apocalypse will return from death sooner. The question is whether he resurrects through the five or from Rogue's body. It was mentioned that Rogue planned to become a parent with Gambit. Is Apocalypse going to reincarnate through their baby?

More importantly will Rogue face trial for killing a fellow mutant and breaking the Krakoan law?

"Is Apocalypse going to reincarnate through their baby?"

Wow, I hope not... that would be creepy.

As for Rogue facing trial, while that may happen, I doubt she would be condemned - especially considering that Apocalypse himself asked her to kill him.

I doubt Rogue will be held accountable as it seems as if *A* manipulated these events to happen.

A mock trial for Rogue like Gambit's in Antarctica - staged by Magneto disguised as Erik the Red for the Mutant Massacre - would be fun. An opportunity to explain how the bureaucratic system and laws of Krakoa work.

Rogue has many witnesses to testify in her defense and condemn Apocalypse's actions. He will resurrect that is what Apocalypse is famous for. The real question is will Betsy take him back on the team to use him as Prestige instructed her in her dream in the form of Annwn hound?

@FSaker Apocalypse is the best at doing creepy stuff. The horsemen transformations, cannibalizing the Sandstormers, creating Ozymandias, Vlad Tepes, Mr. Sinister, Moses Magnum, the Legacy Virus.

Rogue has said she isn't able to give birth. Be it her deadly touch or some genetic factor she can't. The Krakoan law forces mutants to procreate. Maybe with Apocalypse's powers she is able now to touch Gambit. But will Gambit want to be touched by Roguepocalypse?

Also who exactly is Morgan going up against here? I'm confused did I miss something?

I hate how Tini jumps from scene to scene with hardly any explanation. I'm so ready for another writer to take over Betsy

@randybear Morgan calls her white witch possibly she means Roma. Only Avalon seems to be under Morgan's control.

Morgan le Fay is ruthless and acts as saving grace to the writing that is disjointed. I will not be shocked if Morgan loses she tries to hunt her alternates to drain them dead and gain the upper hand. Apocalypse comes off as ruthless but also softened compared to his past self.

Yeah. This book is all over the place. Are they ever going to classify just what her Captain Brittan abilities are? Also, Her shield just keep getting smaller and smaller yet Ive seen her deflect huge tufts of flame and now it looks like a huge volley of arrows. Hopefully after this arc the writers will take a moment to ground the characters a bit. Cuz no one is acting like themselves.

I like the TK sword but the TK shield is so stupid. Why would she limit the area she can protect herself with a fucking shield when she can easily just protect herself and others with a TK forcefield? I mean I *get* it they gave her the sword and shield to present her as a knight but it's just impractical and dumb
