Merry X-Men Holiday Special #1 Spoilers & Art

Spoilers: December 17 at Braddock Lighthouse, the Braddocks gather for Christmas. Maggie takes her first steps, and as a proud mother Meggan start filming her as Brian isn’t there to see this. Maggie falls down, and Betsy comforts her, joking that she may never get the hang of having a body like her auntie. Brian arrives with blueberry scones and is shocked to see that Betsy has returned to her real body. He drops all scones, and the Braddock twins hug each other. Betsy says it’s good to see him.

I didn't know Brian had a mohawk and a beard now. He looks surprisingly cool! And wow, his daughter is already speaking (and speaking like an adult)? Honestly, Betsy should be the one surprised (yeah, she changed bodies again, but that's not the first time; Brian having a non-stuck-up look, now THAT's the first time).

Does anyone know what happened in Hope Summers's Christmas story, by the way? Since she'll probably return to editorial limbo after this Christmas issue and the X-Termination epilogue, it would be nice to know if Marvel will present any excuse to make her vanish again.

Am I the only one who wishes Megan would permanently use her true form as her default?

Yes lol

@Unknown, how dare you?

The baby has advanced development that is supernatural. I didn't read the X-Men Gold annual, but I did read a review of it and it said that the baby is developmentally advanced with the ability to speak like an adult.

I'm just kidding. Are you talking about her crazy lewk where she looks like a female manbat?

No, you little brute. That was a reaction to others’ fear of her when she was a child. The top image is her true form.

You mean, the image where she looks like a normal human except for her eyes with black sclerae, a body built like an Amazon's, and a mountain of hair on her head (even more than Medusa)?

If that's her real form, I agree, she looks amazing that way.

Loved this little scene! I'm so glad we got this instead of everyone bitching Psylocke didn't meet her niece in the shitty XMen Gold Annual.

I had no idea the baby had that ability to be advanced mentally lol it's too funny! And so fitting for this bizarre family. One of the many things that makes the Braddock's interesting and endearing is all the weirdness they've experienced throughout the decades.

Does the baby have any other sort of ability?
