I am enjoying so much!!! The great times for X-men are coming.
Santos, as much as I want to enjoy this, I now deeply feel how ridiculous this become. What is Marvel thinking when they are trying to open for not 4 events for the Return of Wolverine but 6 Event books for Age of X. Really Cebulski, your suppose to know better than that. Your basically creating a trend for the X-men books. What your doing is turning away readers by overwhelming them with more books we don't exactly want to read. You really need to learn from your precedence and stop treating your reader as stupid and naive fools over money.

That's what has me worried. One of the things that hurt the X-books over the last decade was all the big X-events and crossovers. That pushed a lot of readers away to other books inside & outside of Marvel. I was hoping with this Uncanny relaunch, the return of the 05 that hopefully Marvel would calm down on the crossovers for them.
I'd say with Uncanny relaunching, at the most they should've added one other main X-book & tried to retain a writer for more than 8 issues.
This is a risky strategy, indeed. It can be interesting, and the covers do look nice (prisoners, terrorists, students, hippies... Age of X-Man will be quite diversified, it seems), but it can also wear off quicker than expected.
Anyway, who's the little girl in Psylocke's X-Tremists team supposed to be? Gabby?

You guys are 💯. There should be no more than three X-Titles, like when we had Uncanny, New Mutants and X-Factor. Marvel’s greed always hurts the children of the atom. 😂

What in the world is this?
Why do they keep rebooting the X-Men titles?
If they keep doing reboots and bringing back the major characters who were lost over the years, it diminishes the resiliency and survival of the characters who kept on going to fight for mutant kind.
Out of all of the current X-Men titles, X-Men Red has been the only strong book. Does this mean that the title is over after only one 12-issue arc?
When it comes to the X-Men, there is an abundance of awesome and diverse characters, so I dont understand why once again, they chose to focus on a bunch who most people don't know about.
For example, what about the latest version of Spiral, the restored Monet, etc.
I agree Rahsaan, fewer titles with stronger teams.

Who is that with Psylocke? I only recognize Iceman and the Blob.
Northstar and Jubilee are also there (he can be recognized by the little stars on the left side of his chest plus slightly pointy ears; she's easily recognizable by her pink sunglasses).
But I still have no idea of who the little girl is supposed to be... Kitty? I mean, there's a woman in the main miniseries that looks more like Kitty, but she also has two claws, so she may actually be X-23. But Kitty isn't that much younger than Betsy (not to mention she's OLDER than Jubilee)...

When it comes to the comic cover with Psylocke, I think it is Jubilee, Blob, Magneto, the mystery woman, and Iceman, who is looking like Magic Mike.

This looks like Kwannon/Asian Psylocke again.

I feel as though there have been multiple artists who have drawn Psylocke like she is interracial since the body change, and was wondering if that was intentional?
Moneta does sound very similar to Monet. There aren't a lot of young people of colour in the X-Men universe currently.

In general, I’m a bit disappointed that we are doing yet another “Age of...” storyline with a bunch of titles involved. It’s like all the remakes Hollywood makes. Can we do something remotely original and not keep riding the tails of old ideas past? Pretty please.

Rahsaan, I agree. Too much emphasis put on short-term stories with random team-ups.
Like still, not one of these teams is led by Storm. She is always ready to be a leader.
Brilliant costumes that are being designed by artists don't get the book time that they deserve.
I didn't like how both Monet and Jubilie got turned into Vampires, but now that they have both been reversed back to their former selves, can M get a proper team?

With the whole love triangle with Angel and Fantomex, people forget that Psylocke is bisexual. Hopefully they go beyond Iceman in discussing someone's queer sexuality in the X-Men books.
I got the impression she's not really "bisexual", but being a telepath she was more into Fantomex's mind than the physical, that part of his mind that Psylocke loved/liked manifested into a woman I believe? I would think if the part of Warren's mind she loved did something similar we would get the same result? Unless she's been with another woman and I missed it?
Well, that should not even be questioning. the person does not have to be with one of the same sex to prove their sexuality, in the case of Betsy, she was attracted by the Cluster because of what she felt in love with Fantomex, still, if she were straight, she would not have become romantically involved with Cluster.
They dont have to be with one of the same sex to prove it, I'm just unsure if she actually identifies as so. The one basis we've had for it (that I recall at least) was a relationship that started with a man she loved/liked who had a portion of himself split and transform into a woman. Her being a telepath realized that was the part of him that appealed to her. I guess I'm wondering if she's actually physically attracted to women (in addition to psychically) or if she bypassed not being physically attracted to a woman in the case of Cluster, because she was in love psychically with that piece of Fantomex's mind and that was ultimately more alluring. Just curious, doesnt matter either way to me. I do prefer her with Warren though (the real Warren with his edge.).

I think we put too much emphasis on bodies and identities.
If you are attracted to someone's mind or personality, maybe the physical aspect can follow.
I think sexuality can be complex, but we should just let ourselves be honest and be open to exploring another person.
