X-Men: Apocalypse: Is Olivia Munn Teasing Her Psylocke Costume?

ComicBook.com: It was one of the biggest casting announcements yet for Brian Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, Olivia Munn as Betsy “Psylocke” Braddock, and it looks like The Newsroom actress might be teasing fans on her own.

Following the announcement, Munn posted the below photo on her Instagram account earlier tonight that seemingly flew under the radar.

It looks like Olivia might be having some fun with her fans by acknowledging the announcement but who knows if this kind of spandex is what we’ll see in the movie.

The film is due in theaters on May 27, 2016.

So now it's official: Psylocke will wear her iconic Hand bathing suit in X-Men: Apocalypse.

...Nah, she's probably trying some cosplay outfit (I read somewhere that Olivia Munn occasionally cosplays - which only makes me like her even more), or that's only part of the uniform she'll wear in the film.

Speaking of which, is XMA even being filmed yet? Considering how it is supposed to be released next year, every news I see just announce new actors, instead of reporting if said actors have even started filming their parts...

FSaker,

If Psylocke wears the Hand thong in the film, I will have a fucking cow. LOL. I hope she wears something like her last uniform in Remender's run or the Anka-design suit or the one from Spurrier's book. Anything, but that bathing suit with the random arm and leg straps. Or something completely made for the film, but practical and black ops like.

Yes, the bathing suit is quite impractical as combat gear. The three uniforms you listed are exactly the ones I'd choose for Psylocke in this film (regardless if she's caucasian or Asian, if she's a ninja or a secret agent in it).

But as long as she gets a decent screen time and isn't a generic evil mutant (but I won't complain if she becomes one of Apocalypse's Horsemen, as long as she breaks free from his grasp in the end), I'm fine with whatever we get.

it looks like such a basic costume - you can't go from DOFP costumes and this swimsuit with a rubber glove.

Like I said, she may be either trying on a cosplay outfit for any comic book event, or it may be only PART of the film uniform, not the full outfit.

Hopefully Munn will keep posting stuff related to Psylocke in X-Men:Apocalypse to keep us with something to talk about. Because judging from the Marvel solicitations for July, we really won't have much to talk about Betsy in the comic books for the next months: http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/secret-wars-rages-on-with-spider-island-siege-more-in-marvels-july-2015-solicitations

It really sucks to see her completely ignored in Secret Wars. I mean, come on, she's not even in the Shang-Chi tie-in featuring Marvel's martial artists (and Kitty bloody Pryde is in it!) and not even in the Captain Britain-based tie-in...
