Remastered X-Men Poster by Jim Lee

Marvel.com: Marvel is proud to unveil a completely remastered "X-Men Forever" Door Poster by Jim Lee, celebrating the hotly anticipated release of X-Men Forever #1. This is your chance to own one of the most iconic images in X-Men history like you've never seen it before! On-Sale — 6/24/09. Pretty cool, huh?

Speaking of X-Men Forever, Claremont talks a little bit about Psylocke in the upcoming series in a interview with ComicMix:

Claremont: "Everything that relates to the X-Men specifically has not happened. The origins of characters that were established after I left are not necessarily the origins that we will encounter here. For example, the reality in this book is that Sabretooth and Wolverine are father and son. Betsy Braddock has not been transferred into a cloned dead Asian body."

In case you may not know, Claremont absolutey despises the Revanche retcon. He originally planned for Psylocke to be turned into an Asian woman through magic and plastic surgery.

Albeit I agree that the Revanche retcon was a bit exaggerated,I really enjoyed the story regarding the two bodies.

The newly coloured poster looks fantastic. :-D For the first time in my life,I like Rogue's Jim Lee uniform(I've always hated it),Havok looks 10 times hotter and Psylocke looks as attractive as always. Is it just me or did anybody else notice that Jubilee is missing?

I agree, where is Jubilee? I know this poster is old and it would be hard to redo it (especially without Jim Lee), but come on! The kid was definitely a x-woman (or better, a x-kid) at the time; she deserved some spot in it (even Feral is in it, after all...).

And I enjoyed Revanche back in the day, too. The problem wasn't her creation, but the way her connection with Psylocke was guided, complicating and messing both women.

Ummm... did they make Jubilee blonde?!?

no that is Boom Boom, or Boomer, or Meltdown... ...(I don't really know what she calls herself these days).

She calls herself dead since they killed her off.

But before they killed her off she was calling herself boom boom again

I think

So, basically, X-Men Forever is Claremont essentially erasing the entire X-Men Vol. 2 second line, and some of the Uncanny line from the late 80s and beyond, and starting over?

Sounds interesting. Makes me sad money is tight around here. I'd love to add it to my subscription rotation but the twice-a-month nature of the comic makes it a little too pricey at the moment.

I dislike the Revanche retcon as well, but hey, that's what happens when you have a company full of writers, all with different visions. Just gotta roll with the punches.

Not exactly; he is basically erasing every storyline post- X-Men #3 (which was released around 1991, I guess). But everything that happened prior to that issue (basically everything written until the end of the 80s) still remains in Forever's timeline.

The surprising part is that most people that read the first new story from X-Men Forever actually enjoyed it... It seems Mr. Claremont is going back to his kickass-awesome-writer's days!

So Boom Boom is wearing Jubilee's glasses and blowing gum just like her? That's sad.

Boom Boom did it before Jubilee

Oh right, those two annoying teens whose lives Betsy SAVED, and all that she got in return was the "finger" from both of them!

Yeah, Boom Boom and Jubilee, such dolls....
