Spoilers: The Exiles find themselves in a world where the humans - Daughters of the Dragon - and the Saurions - Sons of Iron - fight side by side to keep their world at peace. The Exiles face Lilandra's Shi'ar Death Commandos who are hunting Deathbird because she's the rightful heir to the Shi'ar throne. Betsy uses her physical skills to fight Offset (the Shi'ar Bug Lady). Psylocke says she fights with her physical body because she likes it. Then Betsy creates a TK shield, a sword and finally a baseball bat and finish her enemy. Psylocke explains to her teammates that she had faced the Death Commandos before (End of Greys). The issue ends with the Exiles, the Sons of Iron and the Daughters of the Dragon being surprised by the Death Commandos arrival.Will the whole story be told in the past? And do the events of the miniseries have implications in the present?
The first issue occurs in the Silver Age. Issue #2 happens right after “Kraven’s Last Hunt,” towards the end of the “Mutant Massacre.” Issue #3 is set during the Clone Saga/Wolverine with bone-claws era, with Ben Reilly active as Spider-Man. And our final issue will take place more or less in the present, but before the X-Men moved to San Francisco.
The events will definitely have implications for the present, but not in a “retcon” kind of way, like revealing that Uncle Ben was really Wolverine’s brother or anything like that.
As we all know Betsy joined the X-Men during the Mutant Massacre event. Let's hope Psylocke is part of this story in all her pinky and British glory. :D Issue #2 is in stores on December 10.
Ultimate X-Men writer Aron Coleite talked about the Ultimatum event and the X-Men. This story begins November 26 with ULTIMATE X-MEN #98. One of the preview pages shows Ultimate Psylocke among the X-Men. Betsy joined them in Ultimate X-Men #84 after Professor Xavier's death and has been living with them ever since. ;P

Here is a brief excerpt from an interview Newsarama did with Uncanny X-Men writer Matt Fraction. He talks about more women joining his book. Given what Joe Quesada has said, it looks like Uncanny will be Betsy's home for the coming year.
NRAMA: With the additions of Karma, Dazzler, and Pixie to the line-up, will there be any noteworthy subtractions in the months to come? Can the sheer size of the cast of the X-Men become a bit of a burden for your writing? Or does it have its advantages?
MF: Well, let's talk about line-up for a second. First, you'll notice those're all female characters. The X-Men, we all sort of agreed, had gotten a little too dude-y, so we wanted the fairer sex to blast some fresh air into the place. Uncanny was starting to smell like a sweat sock. So: more women. Yes. Domino? Coming right up.
