During its development, the rules chapter expanded significantly, leading to tough decisions about what to include. As a result, B. Dave Walter's chapter on Excalibur, the legendary mutant team, was cut from the main book.

I don't think you need to worry; that's the only illustration in the expansion showing Betsy with this armor (or showing Betsy at all, in fact). The other illustrations show other versions of Excalibur (I'm shocked that even Claremont's infamous run with Dazzler, Sage and Nightcrawler got an illustration in it).
The good thing is, since it's just an expansion presenting the history of the many Excalibur teams for RPG tabletop players, people can create their campaigns any way they want, including designing their own Captain Britain uniform for Betsy or even ignoring the Dawn of X era and just having Betsy still being Psylocke while Kwannon returns to Japan to do her own thing or something.

(by the way, only now I realized I listed Nightcrawler as a member of Excalibur alongside Dazzler and Sage... my bad; it was actually Nocturne, former member of the Exiles and Kurt's daughter from an alternate reality, who was on that incarnation of the Excalibur team)
Why did they have to shove the Tini era on the cover? They never give up on flops.
