Not that its a big thing, but wonder why everyone else is in a Uniform and Betsy looks like she's in a jacket or robe? Lol.

Weird of all people Betsy is a pilot but the Tank guy does it. Extra stars for Thorne treat Forge and Sage the right way. Both were underutilized and looked down on. No more.

Due to the Sinister monster that hit her with the psychic attack. That's why I'm theorizing there was more to it than we are assuming. It really seemed to affect her.

Hey I posted in other thread but I'll post here too (I saw @Hoxor also posted it too), but Thorne did a good interview.

He explains Betsy and Kwannon got their own Butterflies now and neither is the original and he had Marcus To work on this newer design.

It is around the 1:12:10 mark I believe, but he also talks about other things about Betsy and how she's finally going to get her flowers.

So far I am very excited to have him writing for her, his direct openess with fans is such a breath of fresh air.

I also liked how he kept accidentally referring to Betsy as Psylocke at times lol.

I thought lack of talent would be the death of comics. Didn't see the QR code pandemic strike.

Surge got her iconic gauntlets back. Can't say the same about Betsy's butterfly. Although her original disposition somewhat correlates with how she is being written now.

Good first issue, and I like what I am hearing about Betsy. The new "butterfly" will take some time to get used to. I don't like that Betsy and Rachel are merging in powers or anything else. I almost wish they would get rid of Rachel, as I feel that is the only way Betsy can have some form of autonomy.

I think the spanish woman at the end is probably an old lover of Forge come back to make trouble. Or Lourdes Chantel (Hellfire Club) maybe? Was Lourdes resurrected after Fall of Krakoa?

I don't think they are exactly merging powers @The Flying Negro.

I think they are just telepathically connecting to be stronger and Marcus To changes their visuals when it happens (making Rachel have a Butterfly and Betsy more fiery i think he said).

Psi characters do that from time to time (hopefully it won't be every issue cause that would be annoying lol).

Jean and Betsy did it in Dissasembled when Betsy was trying to lock on Jamie Prime (Multiple Man), Jean connected with Betsy giving her a psychic boost so Betsy could screen out all the thoughts and focus on finding real Jamie.

I also kinda wanted them to get rid of Rachel to be honest.

I just am not feeling her and Betsy. She comes off as much more immature than Betsy imo, and its hard to believe Betsy would go for someone like her to be honest lol.

I do think Thorne so far has made them much more tolerable than Howard.

So there is that lol.

Here hoping the black glove and the "querido" is somehow related to selene. She did build a fake civilisation in Brazil.
