The stories in Excalibur may be quite... disappointing, but I guess we can agree that at least the art always looks great!
Reuben's speech defining mutants as "witchbreed" kinda feels like an analogy of how prejudice is always rooted in archaic concepts. Such a pity the story doesn't point that out. Him bringing out Arthur as ruler of Avalon is another indication, as Arthurian legends usually end with his death (then again, Merlin also dies in these legends, and yet his Marvel version is always coming back from death, so I guess Arthur could do the same) - plus, it's quite hypocritical of him to talk about Arthur when he follows Morgan, who's usually depicted as one of Arthur's worst enemies.
And while we already knew Betsy would be mad at him and his Coven, Emma seems to be even more furious. Hopefully Coven Akkaba will learn the hardest way possible that the White Queen is an expert when it comes to destroying her enemies - and she doesn't even need her mutant powers for that.
Howard and To backing up the party look with the butterflies relieves me they have taste. The other Excalibur get ups ain't bad. Mr. Tacky can drink bleach for saying Betsy looks like a Las Vegas Victorian waitress.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

Marcus To draws Betsy gala look so well and am I the only one wishing she would stay with the hair up look lol reminds me of 80s Psylocke
I like his drawing too @Randybear, but prefer hair down Betsy lol. Also the Rachel thing comes off as friends to me, but you never know lol.
I'm kinda shipping Wisdom and Betsy now. They play off each other well.
