X-Man said...: I think she has it and has always had it. I think it was tptb intention to strip her of it and give it to Kwannon, but they got unexpected vocal backlash from Betsy fans.

Now I think the narrative shifted from original plans and its gonna play out like Betsy had it all along but she just had to believe like going home in The Wizard of Oz or flying in Peter Pan lol.

We are supposed to forget we've seen her with it in Disassembled/Age of X-Man I guess smh lol.

In any case, the fact that malice was able to access those things in Betsy's body, should mean that Betsy still possesses them imo (and the fact Tini and crew displayed them shows they know fans want Betsy with the butterfly).

I think we'll see it soon considering Betsy is now supposed to be "confident" again. Sigh haha.; May 4, 2021 at 9:19 AM

And I'm surprised Reed and Sue are attending the gala; I imagined that Reed would still be upset at X and Magneto for what they did to his mind (even though he actually deserved that), and that Sue would still be embarrassed after the way she treated the X-Men when Franklin ran away to the Marauders' ship.

Also, I hope Captain America won't try to recruit Betsy to the Avengers now that she's Captain Britain. But if he does, she'll likely turn him down, anyway.; May 4, 2021 at 5:22 PM

Jaime Braz said...: @Kiki @Tobias @randybear Marvel needs to separate Betsy and Kwannon but the body swap and butterfly drama don't help. The creators and editors need to consult comic history to see to whom the purple hair and butterfly belong and to whom the ninja profile belongs. It's a no-brainer answer.

There are many types of iconography to give Kwannon. The crimson dawn, the flowers they use in her gala dress to show her empathic ability, the katana and psychic knife and Japanese facial features and hair.; May 16, 2021 at 10:08 AM
