Diamond Select Announces Marvel Select Psylocke Figure

Diamond Select Toys has unveiled their first new Select Action Figure for 2019. Psylocke is a further addition to the classic X-Men line started years ago with Storm and Cyclops, and recently bolstered by the release of Beast and Rogue.

Psylocke will, like the other X-Men releases, come with a diorama piece of the X-Men Danger room. She also looks to include her Katana, which is removable from the sheath. The figure will include two head options, one neutral and one more angry.

The figure is expected in June 2019.

Nice figure. Too bad her hair is very subtle in purple. The psyknife was sculpted perfectly IMO

Very classic look for Psylocke. Must have taken inspiration from the 90s Comic design with huge pocket swatches.

Instant buy! It’s very odd they are not supporting the new Uncanny x-men asrar costume in any figures

Indeed, but have we seen any of the new Uncanny costumes of anyone as figures yet?

Only the custom figure makers I’ve seen so far. This may support someone’s theory that they will re-merge the two again

Bright yellow utility belt and sheath. Is she the least stealthy ninja ever??

Nope. Similar to how Jean figures are always in her Phoenix outfit.

Do people think toy manufacturers are promoting what's happening in the comics at that exact moment?

Figurines take a while to plan and manufcator they aren't created overnight. I would think it would be difficult to sync up what the editors are planning on their titles lol

There is not a way in hell Marvel would put Psylocke back in Kwannons body. Please move on and accept they are separate characters now. It will be ok you will live.

Are you triggered, much CMX? It’s called an opinion and you need to get over your sense of entitlement and realize you aren’t the authority, asshole.

Yeah most action figures, especially collectors ones have a year and some change of 2d design & 3d prototype models. This was more than likely planned before the swap. Plus the design is a definite throwback to the Jim Lee art. I'm sure in a year or two they'll start making figures of her back in her original body.

What I really want is them to make a figure based off the action figure covers some of the X-books had.
