Called it!!! I think it's especially poignant to have Psylocke exploring this aspect of love and attraction.
Her powers are rooted in the mind - the soul - the true seat of what a person "is"; so, it makes sense that the physical husk of where that personality may exist, matters less than the love she feels for that person's essence.
Secondly, Cluster has essentially gone through a body shift and thus is one of the few who can truly understand what Elisabeth has gone through.
Beautiful. I love that when the kiss happened it occurred w/o hesitation and was pure passion - "Poetry in motion" as she's been described before.
@CmX - I don't think so. Technically, Cluster is a man (or 1/3 of a man) in a woman body. As SoulTapestry wisely said, Betsy probably recognizes other people by their minds, not their bodies.
Alphona's art is amazing (can he please stay in this book forever??)! And Humphries keeps improving the plot; it took a while for the new UXF to become interesting, but now the story is great. I hope he doesn't let the quality drop again.
This issue was absolutely beautiful. Loved it through and through. Humphries' characterization of Betsy feels completely natural and spot on. Same with the Fantomexes. This was quality. Love the artist too.
GREAT issue, this is what Im talking about.I have always assumed Betsy was Bi-sexual (or pan) aswell as Storm. This was handled beautifully, better then any over the top and over hyped gay wedding or alternative reality green lantern.Brilliant stuff.
I'm hosting Dublin Gay Pride tomorrow,in front of 40'000 people, and I was super nervous. Then I read this and was reminded of why Im doing it and why Its happening and calmed down straight away.Betsy Braddock,I've related to you since I was two years old, from my childhood to adulthood, and once again our paths are running parallel. Its Crazy!!
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

This was just beautiful! It's love transending bodies/gender. This issues are getting better.
I agree! Does this mean Psylocke is pansexual?? D:
I love the emotion Alphona was able to draw up on the last page. I could almost hear a soundtrack haha

It's sort of funny also, they kissed, when gay marriage is legal now lol.
Yeah, good timing Betts! LOL
Honestly, this was a lovely scene. If anyone would be able to transcend (or simply be unconcerned with) gender it would be a telepath.
