OMG.Logan Vs Betsy? I wonder what cause two best friends to draw blood? Hope she owns is ass tho.

Logan knows that Betsy is capable of killing so i hope he dosent try and stop her getting her scalp.

3 issues of Betsy goodness<3

@PsySpears - Maybe Wolverine becomes influenced by some type of psychic manipulation that places him against Betsy.

TEASE!!!>< lol

Keeping in mind that last time Wolverine, Psylocke and Matsu'o were together, Matsu'o was trying to use Psylocke to brainwash Wolverine into the Hand (which, of course, resulted in Betsy's being freed). Perhaps we might be seeing the ultimate conclusion of what was left unsettled then, just in reverse? Yost is a big fan of invoking continuity...

(for the record, I've been watching this site for a while but haven't posted anything till now -- huge fan!)

good take on that puppet, you should post more.
Oh and does everyone know that logan has cut a piece off Matsu'o every year on the anniversary of Marikos death due to his involvement in her death.maybe he wants Matsu'o to have a long and tortured life

centurion said...

@PsySpears - Oh yes. I remember that was Wolverine's ritual act of revenge for Mariko's death.

PsySpears said...

But would Logan fight one of his best friends over saving Matsu'o so he could keep up that ritual? Betsy has as much right to excact revenge as Logan does

@PsySpears I haven't pointed out your cuteness lately. Ok. Done.

I wanna see Betsy vs. Proteus! Assuming Jamie's upgrades are still there and Betsy is resistant to possession, it could be a nice fight.

Yeah, I know... the whole Red Queen thing, but I'm gonna go on a limb and say that it was a fluke. Plus, it seemed like Betsy was fighting it from the inside the whole time...

I wonder if we will see the Lady Mandarin costume?

[X-man] vs. Wolverine.
How absolutely creative.
Sorry but I find it absolutely lame that this book needed one of the mandatory Logan fights or Logan appearances even.
I think Betsy can hold her own without Marvel's "star" character "boosting" sales.

centurion said...

@Mr. Hellfire - I definitely agree with you here. Betsy is no pushover, and even if she is unable to defeat Wolverine, she certainly has the potential to stalemate him.

Best,
centurion

@Mr. Hellfire - Yes. As for sales, Betsy is very popular. I think the 2010's will be the nostalgic return to Betsy's glory in the 1990s.

Another great month for her, it seems.

I just find it weird that Proteus is appearing in X-Men Legacy... wasn't he already revived during House of M and then he met the Exiles and used them to run into other dimensions? He should be imprisoned in the Panoptichron's walls alongside Sage, not dead in Earth-616...

Carey is great with continuity issues, so I hope he didn't mess Proteus's continuity up by mistake here...

Maybe this is Matsuo's plan: pit Logan against Betsy, resulting in Logan's death and Betsy's transformation into a cold blooded killer a la Kwannon?

I see what you mean Mr. Hellfire, Logan turns up absolutely everywhere. But here I don't mind so much. Logan and Betsy have a great relationship as friends, comrades and fellow "action junkies."

Also, Logan appears in Betsy's book, Betsy appears in Logan's books. The movies are usually based on what flies in the comics. Is Marvel testing our responses for a potential Wolvie - Psylocke movie pairing?

Marvel.com has posted a preview of Psylocke #2!!

OMG is that Yukio Psylocke headbutts? would explain why wolvie is pissed.

centurion said...

@Adam - That is an interesting theory regarding Betsy and Wolverine in a future Wolverine Origins Movie. The possibily is strong for that happening, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some romantic coupling between Betsy and Wolverine.

centurion

wow...psylocke certainly is becoming a key player in the goings-on...YES!

centurion said...

@Derrell - Yes, she is, and Psylocke is probably more relevant now than she ever was in the 80s or 90s.

FSaker said...

As for Psylocke's solo book, am I seeing things or does Logan's mask seem to be the one from his X-Force uniform instead of the traditional X-Men mask? I personally prefer his X-Force's costume.

Not Finch's best cover ever, but it is much better than the PSYLOCKE #2 cover. I love to see how the colorist makes Betsy's psychic knife influence the colors of the pieces of skin, cloth and metal illuminated by it.

centurion said...

@Fsake - Hi. Regarding Logan's mask, I think you are right. It appears to be quite similar to his X-Force costume.
