Given what we know so far, and her prominence in upcoming issues, Betsy is pretty much safe here, she's not biting the dust. My guess is either Surge or that alt Storm
@Lucas those are good guesses. Although its weird cause I thought I read someone dies, but the cover here actually says X-Force dies like the whole team.
I wonder if Betsy and Rachel do like a telepathic illusion making the other team think they died or something?
I'm pretty sure that Jean and Betsy did something like that in Dissasembled if im not mistaken.
As long as Betsy is ok im good and it appears she will be :)
Just saw the one member dies vs team description thing was in the synopsis above here lol. Guess we'll see soon.
Btw @Randybear a sidenote for you if you read this:
I know you weren't loving the covers with Betsy just with a sword, so I did ask Thorne if the covers would be showing variety soon with other psychic abilities like the Butterfly, psychic blades, or psychoblast.
He responded that he doesn't have anything to do with the covers, but that Betsy will be using more abilities soon in the comics :)

And it was really cool that he said "We will be seeing more of Betsy's range in upcoming issues", maybe we'll finally have Psycho-Blast back?!
Yeah that would be great. I think that was kinda her original version of the "psychic blade" in that it was the focused totality of her powers.
Didn't realize he had no say in the covers though.
And yeah that is me lol. It wouldn't let me use X-Man haha.

Yes, he has no idea about the covers.
We once asked him about the Clayton Crain variant that had not yet been revealed and he didn't know why it was taking so long.
About the powers, it will be interesting if he does what he said in the interviews. About Betsy using the weapons for close combat but the danger is when she doesn't use the weapons and becomes a psycho-blaster!
