AIPT: While on the topic of telepaths, X-Fan Lystra said with Betsy Braddock banned from Britain, claiming Krakoan citizenship, and possibly going on multiverse adventures, what significance do you feel the Captain Britain mantle holds for her? It feels like the name and colors don’t match with her mission statement anymore.
Jordan: I think that’s Britain’s problem. [Laughs] I mean, she was chosen for the mantle and the Captain Britain Corps are bigger than any one country. She was chosen for the mantle and sinister forces within the British government are conspiring to deny her that right. For her to just abandon it would be just giving up and letting them win. And I don’t think that she has any interest in doing that. I also don’t think she’s ready to abandon Britain. So I don’t expect that story’s over. I think you will see future developments on that.
AIPT: When might we see those future developments?
Jordan: I can’t say but it won’t be too long.

I can't stand this man he's been editor for way too long
Nice of him to claim full responsibility for a book cancellation, but he could actually do something serious about it instead of pointing out pre-orders.

Was she actually chosen though? I felt she kinda took it lol.
Yeah. Brian tossed the amulet at her just to keep it from Morgan, and when he wanted his amulet back which he earned fair and square, Betsy kinda stole it. Not a good look.
Embarrassing his answer for why Betsy still wears the flag colors and uses the stupid name is essentially to be petty "well they would win if she stopped" Betsy would not give a crap. She's never been superficial in that sense. Ugh this character is just beyond repair at this point
He's just not willing to admit that the Captain Britain experiment failed. But he sounded very defeatist in this answer and the one about cancelled books.
I’ve been obsessed with this entire run & can’t wait to see what comes next for Betsy & the gang. Let Brian & Jamie babysit Maggie in Otherworld while Bets, Meggan & Askani go play. We get to see, for the first time.. a CB untethered from the Omniversal Majestrix & Merlin! Definitely want to see Betsy dabble in more magic too.
Hell yeah Bets, Meggan, Askani are the throuple. Who needs men when you got fists and scissors?
I do. Actually was excited for Shatterstar, Brian, Rictor and Gambit way more than rachel... Never really cared much about her
The xline has tanked in sales since Hickman left. The only reason he's still editor was he got lucky and Hickman started his run right as Jordan became head xeditor. It was a fluke and now the line is garbage aside from 1-2 books
