When Captain Britain was announced, I first expected her to be just an alternate outfit like in Marvel Future Fight, but in Contest of Champions she's a completely new character, separate from Psylocke, right? I mean, her moves are very different from Psylocke's.
Which brings the question: how will the developers explain that both are in the same game? If I remember correctly, CoC's Psylocke is explicitly identified as Betsy Braddock, NOT Kwannon. Maybe they'll say that the two of them come from different timelines?
"Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock spent most of her adult life as the mutant Psylocke, fighting alongside the X-Men while her brother took on the mantle of Captain Britain. After years spent trapped in the body of the assassin Kwannon, Betsy was finally able to regain her original form just in time to take over the role of Captain Britain from her brother Brian Braddock. Using her mutant abilities to engage her opponents with telepathy, telekinesis, and potent psionic weapons, the new Captain Britain is a powerful force for good in the multiverse."
In MCoC it is not a problem, there are many characters thai are present with multiple incarnations, for example Sam Wilson is there as both Falcon and Captain America, so Betsy can be there both as Psylocke and Captain Britain.
“For so long, my life has been out of control. Chaos and serendipity, wrapped in insanity. I have suffered, I have lost. Not just my life, but my very soul, my self. But no more. Now I know who I am.” – Elizabeth ‘Betsy’ Braddock, daughter of Otherworld, mutant, telepath, telekinetic, defender of the realm and, above all, X-Man.

@FSaker - her bio in the game says she's both.

I feel ok with their work. The uniform is slim and the hair wrong. Her hair is purple and here pink.

It definitely could be darker, but I do think its purple. I think the pink glow of her weaponry is kinda making it more pinkish though.
As much as I hate the costume, the animations and butterfly effect are amazing.
Imagine this with her Disassembled costume!
